  • Patent number: 11585905
Abstract: A laser scanner (10) including a housing (12) having a window (14), a light source (34) for emitting a light beam (32), the window (14) being transparent to the wavelength(s) of the light beam (32), a scanning mirror (30) rotatable about an axis of rotation (X) for deflection of the light beam (32) toward a scanning area (SC) so that the light beam (32) periodically sweeps at least one sweep surface, and for deflection of return light from objects or persons in the scanning area (SC) into a light collection path, a motor (24) for rotating the scanning mirror (30), a photodetector element (42) for generating an electric signal, arranged in said light collection path, wherein the motor (24), the light source (34), and the photodetector element (42) are all housed within the housing (12) on a same side with respect to said at least one sweep surface.

  • Patent number: 10810474
Abstract: A sensor configured to detect and record measured conditions, such as temperature, pressure, volume, displacement, acceleration, and/or other measureable conditions. The sensor may incorporate radio frequency identification (RFID) components. The sensor may also incorporate micro-electro-mechanical devices and/or systems (MEMS) and/or nano-electro-mechanical devices and/or systems (NEMS) that are configured to change in response to certain conditions encountered by the MEMS/NEMS and provide indications of the same. The sensor may include a detector configured to detect the changes in the MEMS/NEMS. The detected changes may be stored by the MEMS and/or the NEMS and/or the RFID components, allowing information about the changes to be retrieved through a RFID reading and/or scanning process. The sensor may be used to monitor and/or track conditions associated with certain objects and/or environments, among other uses.

  • Patent number: 10679504
Abstract: Various embodiments of the invention are implemented with a mobile camera and safety laser scanner. A mobile computer can be used to show a visible infrared beam on the display of the mobile computer. The mobile computer can function as a safety tool to identify regions or locations where a laser beam might penetrate. The mobile computer can determine if the laser beam has penetrated a safety region or zone. Sensors can be used to determine when a laser beam may become dangerously close to an operator, especially with the use of automated guided vehicle that is moving around and has a scanning laser.
