  • Publication number: 20240086477
Abstract: An experience rating and skill discovery system (ERSDS) and a method for determining credibility of experience ratings provided by one or more reviewers and discovering skills of opportunity seekers based on a relationship between the reviewers and the opportunity seekers are provided. A skill profile module of the ERSDS reads profile data from a user profile list and generates a skills profile list. An invitation module transmits invitations to reviewer devices for providing the experience ratings.

  • Patent number: 11620293
Abstract: A method and a multi-directional attribute matching system (MAMS) determining a degree of match between item profiles with respective attributes possessed (AP) and respective attributes needed (AN) of varying credibility and varying importance are provided. The MAMS receives an attributes possessed list including the AP and an attributes needed list including the AN, from a predefined attribute list database. The AP and the AN have parent attributes or hierarchical sub-attributes. The MAMS merges multiple occurrences of AP and inputs to the attributes possessed list. The MAMS generates a matched attribute list for a side by matching the AP in an item profile with the AN in an item profile of another item by matching the AP with the AN. The MAMS computes a raw score and an attribute match score for each side using match formulae and computes a final score of the multi-directional match between the item profiles.

  • Patent number: 11481712
Abstract: A method of determining a Trac score representing an individual's future employment behavior using past and present employment behavior that are unrelated to skills and job match within a job and across multiple jobs of an individual when combined with public and available external records. A method employing a Trac score calculation system comprises at least one processor to execute computer program instructions for obtaining one or more ratings from one or more users through one or more user devices connected to the Trac score calculation system that assigns the credibility to the ratings. A combination of the Trac sub-score obtained by accumulating the ratings weighted by estimated credibility of each rating, and Adjustment sub-score obtained by processing available external records in public and private forms, creates a Trac score which is a numerical and reflects an aggregation of available data weighted by what is believed to affect the employment behavior.

  • Publication number: 20200176126
Abstract: A method and a medical rating system (MRS) for providing rating information related to medical items including, for example, medical products, medical services and their effects in a peer-to-peer networking environment while maintaining confidentiality of user information are provided. The MRS receives rating information related to one or more medical items in a peer-to-peer networking environment from multiple user devices. The MRS stores the received rating information and the user information associated with the rating information in separate databases to maintain confidentiality of the user information. The MRS assigns a credibility score to the stored peer-to-peer rating information based on credibility of a rating user and credibility of the stored rating information for the medical items. The MRS renders customized views of the stored rating information for the efficacy and effects associated with each medical item on a graphical user interface of the user device.

  • Publication number: 20200012653
Abstract: A method and a need matching system (NMS) determine a degree of match between item profiles with item attributes with varying ratings of varying credibility and need profiles with need attributes of varying importance. The NMS receives a first attribute list including the item attributes and a second attribute list including the need attributes from an attribute list database and creates a unique attribute list including unique item attributes, a merged attribute amount measure corresponding to each unique item attribute, and a merged credibility measure indicating credibility of the merged attribute amount measure by performing merging actions on first tuples in the first attribute list. The NMS generates a need match score by processing an attribute match score with an importance measure. The attribute match score is generated for each need attribute in a matched attribute list created by matching the unique item attributes with the need attributes.

  • Publication number: 20190378093
Abstract: A method and an opportunity matching system (OMS) for determining a degree of match between opportunity seeker profiles with opportunity seeker skills of varying credibility and opportunity descriptions with opportunity description skills of varying importance are provided. The OMS receives a first skill list including the opportunity seeker skills and a second skill list including the opportunity description skills from a skill list database and creates a unique skill list including unique opportunity seeker skills, a merged skill amount measure corresponding to each unique opportunity seeker skill, and a merged credibility measure indicating credibility of the merged skill amount measure by performing merging actions on first tuples in the first skill list. The OMS generates an opportunity match score by processing a skill match score generated for each opportunity description skill in a matched skill list created by matching the unique opportunity seeker skills with the opportunity description skills.

  • Patent number: 8621652
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computer implemented method and system for copying a web element with reassigned permissions. An element creator creates the web element in a first location in an online environment. The element creator assigns the permissions to one or more of multiple template users for the web element. The element creator defines a copy operation for the web element for a copying user. The definition comprises selecting one or more of the template users for the reassignment of the permissions. The copying user copies the web element to a second location in the online environment by performing the defined copy operation. The permissions of the selected template users are reassigned to the copying user for the copied web element.

  • Publication number: 20090077470
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computer implemented method and system for enabling a user to anonymously participate in trials over multiple sessions. A temporary user identifier is generated for the user. The temporary user identifier is stored locally on a client device of the user. Anonymous access to multiple online tools on a host website is granted to the user for a predetermined period of time using the temporary user identifier. The user may participate anonymously in the trials over the multiple sessions using the online tools for the predetermined period of time. The participation in the trials comprises performing online activities on the host website by the user. The user may register with the host website by providing user identification information to obtain unlimited access to the online tools.

  • Patent number: 6212524
Abstract: A method of generating a datamart is described. The datamart includes tables having rows and columns. The method comprises accessing a description of a schema. The schema defines the relationships between the tables and columns. The description further defines how data is to be manipulated and used to populate the tables in the datamart. That is, the description defines the semantic meaning of the data. The description is further used to create a set of commands to create the tables. The commands are executed causing the creation of the tables. Importantly, when the semantic meaning is associated with the column and rows, programs for manipulating and propagating data into those columns and rows are automatically defined. Previously, consultants would have to hand code the creation, manipulation, and population programs for a datamart. Thus, the amount of work required to create and populate the datamart is significantly reduced.
