A CIM to DMI provider is utilized to receive events, interrupts, and messages from both the CIM and DMI network and convert these events, interrupts, and messages to the appropriate format for each of the networks. Further, a proxy CIM object manager (CIMOM) is utilized to establish communications with CIM client applications and to interface to the CIM to DMI provider.
