  • Publication number: 20100143002
Abstract: In a hybrid development method using a plurality of toner carriers, a development device and image forming apparatus are provided, wherein high image quality in which toner density is not reduced even in the case of high speed printing and the occurrence of development hysteresis (ghost) is controlled is ensured by accelerating the collection of the post-development residual toner on the toner carrier. The counter-charge having occurred in the developer remains in the developer without decreasing to disappear until the developer moves to the second toner carrier on the downstream-side, wherein this counter-charge is caused by supplying toner to the first toner carrier upstream in the rotating direction of the developer carrier.

  • Patent number: 7676180
Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide a liquid development apparatus that can form a uniformly thin layer of high-density liquid developer on the development roller, thereby forming images free of uneven density or toner fog, and another objective is to provide an inexpensive and compact liquid development apparatus which increases the flexibility in the arrangement. A liquid development apparatus in which a liquid developer supply head having a liquid developer discharge outlet for applying a liquid developer on the surface of the development roller is equipped with a section for reducing the viscosity of the liquid developer.

  • Publication number: 20090285597
Abstract: Provided are a developing device and an image forming apparatus which employ a hybrid development method, have a toner-collecting developer supporting member and keep toner collecting ability stable for a long period of time to form high-quality images without development hysteresis (ghost) over a long period of time. A toner separation member abutting the toner-collecting developer supporting member through a toner-collecting developer layer is provided, and the toner separation member is applied with a bias voltage to form an electric field in such a direction as to pull toner away from the toner-collecting developer supporting member to prevent the toner from accumulating on the surface of the toner-collecting developer supporting member.

  • Publication number: 20090157533
Abstract: A market-demand-forecasting-value calculation section acquires order entry actual achievement data from an order-entry-actual-achievement-data storing unit of an order receiving system, and calculates a market demand forecasting value using the order entry actual achievement data. A correction safety inventory quantity calculation section calculates an error rate, which becomes negative when an ordering required-quantity becomes large, based on a number of ordered parts and a past ordering required-quantity. Subsequently, the correction safety inventory quantity calculation section calculates a correction safety inventory quantity using the error rate and the market demand forecasting value and a money-amount-zone index value.

  • Publication number: 20070244589
Abstract: A demand prediction apparatus connected to an order reception record storage unit for storing an order reception record of a product and an association information storage unit for storing association information associating products with each other, first acquires identification information of a product for which demand prediction is to be performed. The demand prediction apparatus specifies a product associated with the product having the acquired identification information based on the association information stored in the association information storage unit, and acquires an order reception record of the specified product from the order reception record storage unit. The demand prediction apparatus derives a demand prediction function that is fitted to the order reception record, by using the acquired order reception record.
