  • Publication number: 20150035869
Abstract: In a display apparatus having a liquid crystal panel, a change in luminance of the entire display frame when overshoot driving is performed is suppressed, while improving a viewing angle of the liquid crystal panel. A processing unit performs a high gradation display displaying a gradation higher than a gradation of an input image at one of two adjacent pixels, performs a low gradation display displaying a gradation lower than a gradation of an input image at the other of the two adjacent pixels, and switches between the high gradation display and the low gradation display for each pixel every display frame. A correction unit corrects a gradation of a pixel located adjacent to a pixel displayed with a gradation for which predetermined overshoot driving is difficult in the next display frame to a gradation for which overshoot driving stronger than the predetermined overshoot driving is possible.

Abstract: An inverted pendulum type vehicle capable of making mounting and dismounting of an occupant smooth. A control device of an inverted pendulum type vehicle includes a control gain adjustment unit. The control gain adjustment unit changes the magnitude of the control gain used for motion control of an actuator device according to the tilting state of an occupant riding section in a situation where the stepping on of an occupant to the occupant riding section is executed or in a situation where the stepping off of the occupant from the occupant riding section is executed.

  • Patent number: 8936317
Abstract: A waist receiving portion, which is provided at a support member, is curved to form a convex shape toward a front side in a seat front and rear direction in side view. Accordingly, when a waist portion of an occupant is pressed against the waist receiving portion, the change of the shape of lumbar vertebrae is suppressed. For this reason, since it is possible to reduce the difference between a timing when a head portion of the occupant is pressed against a headrest and a timing when a neck portion of the occupant is pressed against a neck receiving portion, it is possible to suppress swing of the head portion of the occupant about the neck portion as a fulcrum in the seat front and rear direction. Therefore, a burden to the neck portion of the occupant is reduced.

  • Patent number: 8876206
Abstract: A vehicle seatback including a seatback frame provided with a pair of seatback side frame portions and a seatback upper frame portion that connects together upper end portions of the pair of seatback upper frame portions along the seat width direction, and a support member attached to the seatback frame. The support member is provided with a lower neck bearing portion covering the seatback upper frame portion, and a shoulder bearing portion disposed further towards the front than the seatback upper frame portion in the seat front-rear direction. When a load of a specific value or greater acts on the occupant towards the rear in the seat front-rear direction, the shoulder regions of the occupant are pressed against the shoulder bearing portion, suppressing movement of the occupant towards the rear in the seat front-rear direction.

  • Publication number: 20140297124
Abstract: An inverted pendulum type vehicle capable of dissipating the dissociation of vehicle steering intention of a user and a vehicle motion condition. When a base tilts toward a first designated direction, gravity center shift effect amount Vofs_x is corrected by a gravity center shift correction amount Vdep_x calculated according to the tilting amount. The gravity center shift correction amount Vdep_x with respect to a second designated direction is determined so as to increase as the tilting amount toward the first designated direction of the base. Further, the gravity center shift effect amount Vdep_x determined by tilting toward the first designated direction of the base is controlled to a threshold value or less.

  • Publication number: 20140297076
Abstract: An inverted pendulum type vehicle capable of improving consistency of the intention of an operator and the motion condition of the vehicle. When a low frequency component of an estimate value Vb_estm1_y of the translational speed in the Y-axis direction of a vehicle system center of gravity of the entirety deviates from a dead zone of a processing unit and movement of the waist of an operator is sudden enough to generate a high frequency component in Vb_estm1_y, a target turning angular velocity ?z_cmd_gc is set to a positive value or a negative value depending on the deviation amount, and a turning suppression factor K?z is adjusted to 0. Therefore, motion of actuator devices of a vehicle is controlled so that turning of the vehicle is suppressed and the vehicle system center of gravity of the entirety is translated to +Y-axis direction.

Abstract: This liquid crystal display device (100) includes a pixel defined by a plurality of subpixels that includes red, green, blue and yellow subpixels (R, G, B, Ye). As long as the sum of respective luminances of all of the subpixels but the blue subpixel (B) falls within the range of 0% to 50% while the color displayed by the pixel is changing from the color blue in which the blue subpixel (B) is at the highest grayscale level and the other subpixels are at the lowest grayscale level into the color white in which all of those subpixels are at the highest grayscale level substantially without changing its hue, the yellow subpixel (Ye) starts to increase its grayscale level at a different timing, and/or has its grayscale level increased at a different ratio with respect to an increase in the pixel's luminance, from the red and green subpixels (R, G) do.

  • Publication number: 20140146172
Abstract: Provided is a distributed image processing system for detecting an object located in a monitoring target area and an attribute of the object. An area terminal processes an image captured by a video camera, and detects whether the object of which the image is captured is present. When detecting the object located in the monitoring target area, the area terminal focuses an image capturing visual field of a digital still camera on the detected object, and inputs a release signal to the digital still camera. The area terminal transmits a still image captured by the digital still camera to a server through a network. The server processes the still image transmitted from the area terminal, and detects an attribute such as a kind and a size of the object of which the image is captured. The server performs an output according to a detection result of the object located in the monitoring target area.

  • Patent number: 8712244
Abstract: In a communication system using a PON, time synchronization of a slave device such as a base station is realized with respect to a master device such as an L2SW or the base station. Time information acquired by a GPS satellite is corrected by ranging information of a discovery function of an OLT so as to be reflected on time information of each ONU. A propagation delay from the L2SW to the OLT is obtained with the use of a delay estimation mechanism, a propagation delay from the OLT to the ONU which is obtained by ranging is added to obtain a propagation delay from the L2SW to the ONU. The obtained propagation delay from the L2SW to the ONU is added to the transmitted time stamp value whereby a time stamp value received at a base station or femtocell side becomes a time into which the propagation delay to the ONU is incorporated, and absolute values of clock timers can be synchronized with each other.
