  • Publication number: 20060244994
Abstract: A shared print server control program and a shared print server control method are disclosed. In addition to a standard spooler included in the operating system mounted on the server for managing the printing jobs based on the shared printer function, an additional spooler for assisting in the management of printing jobs is arranged on the server. The additional spooler, without waiting for the end of the processing operation of the previously received printing jobs, sequentially receives all the printing jobs transmitted from the client, after which the communication with the client is cut off without delay or immediately, thereby realizing the operation of a shared printer system.

  • Patent number: 5298482
Abstract: A method for treating plants with a plant growth promoter comprising 5-aminolevulinic acid or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. This treatment method is effective in enhancing the photosynthetic activity of a plant, enhancing its ability to absorb CO.sub.2, suppressing its respiration, increasing its chlorophyll content and promoting its growth. As a result, the treatment greatly contributes to the promotion of rooting, the reduction of lodging, an increase in yield, an improvement in cold resistance, maintenance of freshness, an improvement and maintenance of green color, the growth of good seedlings, the promotion of organs, an increase in tillers, a shortening of the time required for growth, a relief of chemical damage and an increase in the rooting ratio in, for example, cutting.

  • Patent number: 4622060
Abstract: A known antibiotic, SF-1293 substance and salts thereof have now been found to exhibit high herbicidal effects against a wide variety of herbaceous and woody plants, but they are non-phytotoxic particularly to a useful woody plant, Chamaecyparis obtusa. The herbicidal effects of these SF-1293 substances can be synergistically enhanced by applying in combination with herbicides selected from Linuron, Monolinuron, Monuron and Diuron each known as herbicides of urea derivative class.
