  • Publication number: 20040225436
Abstract: A terminal unit (400) acquires navigation electric wave, generates an assumed coordinate information, and transmits the information to a position information processing device (320) over a network (200), so that the position information processing device (320) generates a position information on the current position of the terminal unit (400) and an accuracy information on a positioning accuracy. The terminal unit (400) acquires the position information and the accuracy information from the position information processing device (320) and transmits them to a server unit (500) over the network (200) with information on a display area where a map is displayed. The server unit (500) sets a scale rate of the map based on the accuracy information and calculates a circular area where the terminal unit (400) may be located.

  • Patent number: 6692223
Abstract: To obtain an air conditioning apparatus which provides a favorable atmosphere to the ear and saves energy even if the suction resistance of the impeller becomes high due to such as dust in the air conditioning apparatus. The air conditioning apparatus is provided with an impeller which is formed by a plurality of vanes and a ring for supporting the plurality of vanes, and includes a nozzle portion formed by a stabilizer and an air outlet, a cross flow fan formed by a guide wall, and a heat exchanger. The ratio H/&phgr;D2 of the outside diameter &phgr; D2 of the impeller to the height H of the air conditioning apparatus is 2.2 or above and 3.0 or below.

  • Patent number: 6086324
Abstract: A cross flow having a volute is disclosed which is less noisy during its operation. A volute-portion starting radius which is the length of a segment O-F.sub.1 at a volute-portion starting point F.sub.1 is R.sub.1 ; a maximum volute radius which is the length of a segment O-F.sub.2 at the outlet portion starting point F.sub.2 is R.sub.M ; a maximum volute angle which is an angle formed by the segment O-F.sub.2 and O-F.sub.1 is .varies.M; a point on the volute portion having a distance to the center O of the rotating shaft is R.sub.J =(R.sub.1 +R.sub.M)/2; an angle .varies..sub.J is formed by a segment connecting that point and the center 0 of the rotating shaft; the segment O-F.sub.1 is .varies..sub.M /2 (=F.sub.1 -O-F.sub.J); a volute portion of a scroll casing is formed into a circular arc such that R.sub.1 <R.sub.J <R.sub.M, and the circular arc passes through the points F.sub.1, F.sub.J, and F.sub.2.

  • Patent number: 5758719
Abstract: The invention relates to a separation-type air conditioner capable of increasing the heat exchanging area of a compact indoor unit and of effecting high-performance heat exchange, and particularly employable as a high-performance yet compact indoor unit whose height is low. A front heat exchanger having a configuration in which an upper edge portion and a lower edge portion are respectively made to recede is disposed in an indoor unit. In addition, a rear heat exchanger separate from the front heat exchanger is disposed on the rear surface side of the front heat exchanger. Consequently, it is possible to increase the heat exchanging area in an indoor unit having the same height, and improve the heat exchanging capacity.

  • Patent number: 5421403
Abstract: An air conditioner includes bent portions provided at edge portions of a plurality of fins juxtaposed on a heat exchanger, respectively. Each bent portion is located at an edge portion which is near a cross flow fan and on the sides of said fin facing the cross flow fan and lying generally between the cross flow fan and a coolant pipe of the heat exchanger. The bent portions are formed by bending the edge portions so as to be in parallel to the coolant pipe and staggered along an axis parallel to the coolant pipe. Thereby, the noise during the operation of the cross flow of the air conditioner can be reduced.
