  • Publication number: 20140021269
Abstract: A dispenser for a volatile substance, which contains a reservoir and two control elements. The first control element exerts a control function that is dependent on the substance characteristics of the volatile substance and the material characteristics of the constituents of said first control element. However, the second control element exerts a control function that is independent of the substance characteristics of the volatile substance and the material characteristics of the constituents of said first control element. The first control element is located between the reservoir and the second control element and is permeable to at least one volatile substance. The second control element consists of a material that is impermeable to the volatile substance and contains defined material cavities. Perfumes, crop protection agents, pheromones and repellents, which can be released in a controlled manner, constitute the volatile substances.

  • Publication number: 20080050433
Abstract: The invention relates to a water-soluble film for releasing active substances, particularly plant protection products and plant growth promoting substances. The water-soluble film can be defined with regard to its dimensions so that the content of the active substance can be exactly pre-dosed in such a defined film section. The release of the active substance or of the active substance combination from the water-soluble film ensues in a controlled manner by the action of water. The soil, standing and flowing water, surfaces of plants and other objects make up the environment.

Abstract: The invention relates to an insect trap consisting of a container that surrounds an inner chamber and comprises at least one opening and at least one carrier film provided with an adhesive layer that is accessible from the inner chamber. The carrier film forms a transparent window of the container at least in the vicinity of the adhesive layer. The invention provides a highly effective insect trap, consisting of a small number of different components. The trap is simple to assemble and install and the rate at which it becomes exhausted and needs replacing can be checked visually.

  • Patent number: 6818087
Abstract: A sheetlike article comprising a single-layer homogenous matrix containing at least one active substance such as a crop protection agent, biocide, fertilizer, plant strengthener, cosmetic substance or fragrance, is produced by applying the at least one active substance to at least one of two layers of identical composition, placing the two layers atop one another so as to enclose the at least one active substance, irreversibly joining the layers with the at least one active substance therebetween under pressure to form a laminate and storing the laminate under defined conditions for a duration sufficient to effect migration of the at least one active substance into the base layer and connection of the layers at their interfaces.

  • Publication number: 20030233784
Abstract: An insect trap is described which comprises an insect-attracting element and an insect-holding element, the insect-attracting element being a hologram, that is to say a material in the form of a film which contains the result of a holographic recording method. A cavity or an adhesive, advantageously in the form of an adhesive layer, may be used as the insect-holding element of the insect trap. The insect trap may also contain insecticides and attractants. The use of a hologram is particularly suitable for attraction of flying insect species such as the housefly, the Indian meal moth, the clothes moth, mosquitoes and the common wasp.
