  • Patent number: 7061523
Abstract: Signals are sent by radio waves from a single or multiple antennas provided in an external unit located outside of a living body to a capsule inserted into a living body to obtain living body information. The signals are received by the antenna on the capsule side and the radio wave strength data is obtained. Based on the radio wave strength data, living body information is sent from the capsule side to the external unit by using a transmission power suitable for the transmission. The radio wave strength data is sent to the external unit side, and the external unit side receives living body information by selecting and using an antenna, which can receive data with the highest radio wave strength.

  • Publication number: 20050265330
Abstract: The network relay device of the invention carries out data transmission to and from an opposite device to relay data in a network. The network relay device includes: multiple ports connecting with corresponding multiple ports of the opposite device via multiple links; and a link aggregation control module that aggregates the multiple links to establish a link aggregation, which is regarded as one logic link, and carries out transmission of a control frame signal including a synchronization bit, as well as data transmission, at each port via the link aggregation. In response to detection of occurrence of a trouble in at least one of the aggregated multiple links, the link aggregation control module causes a port that connects with a normal link without the trouble among the multiple ports to stop the data transmission and send the control frame signal including the synchronization bit set equal to a first value.

  • Publication number: 20040110495
Abstract: A Web access providing system that allows a user to access a Web page as if he or she is making a telephone call. When a user terminal B sends out a service request S1 and an originating connection request S12, a connection notification S4 is sent to a user terminal A through local Mobile multimedia switching system (L-MMS 1) and a gateway mobile multimedia switching system (G-MMS 2). When receiving the connection notification 4, the user terminal A performs authentication. The authentication verifies whether the telephone number of the user terminal B is contained in a telephone directory of the user terminal A. After the authentication, the user terminal A outputs a connection communication response S5 to the G-MMS 2. The connection communication response S5 contains the URL of a Web page associated with the user terminal A. The L-MMS 1 receives the URL and outputs a connection request S7. Thus, the user terminal B can access and browse the Web page implemented by a Web server 3.

  • Publication number: 20030213495
Abstract: When a capsule is manufactured, a unique number such as a serial number is stored in non-volatile memory in the capsule. If the capsule is used with an external apparatus, the unique number is sent from the capsule to the external apparatus. The external apparatus relates each unique number with a capsule ID comprising a small number of bits in a management table formed in non-volatile memory and sends the capsule ID to the capsule, and the capsule ID with the small number of bits is set as an identifier in the capsule. In this manner, it is made unnecessary to provide a switch in the capsule for setting the identifier and it becomes possible to reduce and send the quantity of information sent as the identifier.
