  • Publication number: 20090238991
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for preparation of a glass forming mold having a layer of a lubricating mold-releasing agent with reduced fluctuation in lubricating property, by baking the layer of the lubricating mold-releasing agent in a manner that prevents defects like blistering or peeling of the layer, or surface roughening. The method is a method for preparation of a glass forming mold having a baked layer of a lubricating mold-releasing agent on the mold surface thereof, wherein the method comprises heating the mold surface with an applied lubricating mold-releasing agent thereon by exposing the mold surface to a high frequency magnetic flux until the temperature of the mold surface reaches a predetermined baking temperature.

  • Publication number: 20080017717
Abstract: An information reader has blocks of bright field illuminating units illuminating an information code directly marked on an object with first lights to regularly reflect the lights on the code, blocks of dark field illuminating units illuminating the code with second lights to irregularly reflect the lights on the code, an optical system, and a control section lighting the blocks of bright and dark field illuminating units by turns or simultaneously. The optical system forms an image of the code from each of the first and second lights or a combination of the first and second lights reflected on the code and reads the code from the images. The first lights are transmitted along an optical axis of the optical system. The second lights are transmitted toward the optical axis while slightly shifted toward the code.

  • Patent number: 6250281
Abstract: An entire peripheral surface of a port bent portion (5) of a direct intake port (2) has a peripheral side surface portion (11) close to a cylinder axis (10). The peripheral side surface portion (11) provides a projection (12) for deviating intake air current (A) from the peripheral side surface portion (11) toward an opposite peripheral side surface portion (13). Further, the bent portion (5) has a peripheral side surface portion (14) close to an upper end surface (9) of a cylinder chamber (8), which provides a projection (15) for deviating the intake air current (A). This projection (15) turns a direction of the intake air current (A) from a peripheral side surface portion (14) close to the upper end surface (9) of the cylinder chamber (8) toward an opposite peripheral side surface portion (16).

  • Patent number: 5992393
Abstract: A diesel engine having cylinders disposed in a V shape is constructed as compact as possible so that it can be adapted to either vertical and horizontal use without changing many parts. To this end, intake and exhaust cams and a fuel injection pump driving cam are disposed on a single camshaft to thereby obviate the necessity of a plurality of camshafts. In addition, a fuel pump, which has conventionally been disposed in a separate fuel injection pump case outside a cylinder block, is disposed inside the cylinder block. Furthermore, a fuel injection nozzle is disposed on an inner side of a pushrod and the pushrod and fuel injection nozzle are disposed between the cylinders, whereby a compact construction is obtained. Moreover, a governor device and a fuel injection pump are disposed on a side opposite to a crankshaft of the camshaft.

  • Patent number: 4557235
Abstract: Disclosed is a fuel injection quantity controlling device for diesel engines having a vertically extending crankshaft. The device has a control rod disposed in parallel with the crankshaft. In the event of a failure in the mechanism for vertically and reciprocatingly driving the control rod, e.g. a lever, link or the like, the control rod moves downward by the force of gravity to automatically stop the fuel supply to the unit injectors.
