  • Publication number: 20040189729
Abstract: There is described a method for forming an image by employing a print head in which a plurality of recording elements are arranged in an array line. The method includes the steps of: recording a correction image onto a photosensitive material by means of the print head; acquiring readout information read from the correction image by means of an image-reading device; finding correction amounts of recording characteristics, each of which corresponds to each of the plurality of recording elements, from the readout information acquired in the acquiring step; and forming the image by employing the print head in which the recording characteristics of the plurality of recording elements are compensated for, according to the correction amounts found in the finding step. The correction image includes such an image area in which at least two different color dyes are mixed with each other.
