  • Patent number: 8851184
Abstract: A containment valve assembly using the upcoming pressures to control the flow of oil/gas through a riser pipe with a stop flow plug positioned within the valve housing that has an outer surface shaped to fit within and against the riser pipe, and an inner socket cavity having a conical nose receiver portion with a relief vent allowing the oil/gas to escape through the valve assembly, when desired. The stop flow plug is shaped to fit within the inner socket cavity and moves between an open position and a closed position, wherein the stop flow plug fits securely against the conical nose receiver portion, sealing the relief vent. At the top of the valve, a nut will lock the stop flow plug to the close out plate for additional stoppage. A second embodiment adds a heavy duty insert to supplement the sealing pressure, when needed. Electronic monitors convey data remotely.

  • Patent number: 8256538
Abstract: A riser pipe containment valve attached to the drill string tool that uses the wells' intense pressure to cap and control flow when lowered down the riser and attached to its internal wall. Oil/gas sealing and stoppage flow through the valve are controlled by stop flow plug movement. The valve attached then to the riser pipe wall is locked to that surface with pressure indented balls forced into wall indented cavities locking valve to riser in multiple engagement points. When the valve is installed as a riser pipe insert, and used as a by-pass stop flow pipe, without retention attachments, it continues to function as an oil/gas stop flow plug system, and electronic sensors in the valve are utilized to monitor flow and sealing conditions relative to high pressure and convey data to the drill string tool and its electronic system display.

  • Patent number: 6957467
Abstract: A toothbrush that provides, besides the conventional bristles for brushing the teeth, other basic periodontal components recommended by dentists for perfect cleaning, massaging and stimulating the gum tissue, all in one single, convenient artifact. The brush component is molded into one end of the handle, in conventional manner, and the opposite end of the handle contains two parallel cylinders for housing the two periodontal tools which are extended and retracted with buttons, one on each side of the handle, through a slit in each cylinder wall, establishing a means for this movement. The buttons engage two sliders, the ends of each hold extension tubes that capture and retain the dental tools and provide replacement capabililty. Each cylinder contains a hinged close-out cover for protection of the periodontal tools from contamination and loss of the cover.

  • Patent number: 6746079
Abstract: A seat with linkage attachable on either side of conventional luggage carts, on both sides, or to the backside, and once the push/pull handle rotates upward, positions itself vertical, for headroom clearance, and simultaneously deploys the seat to horizontal level, for seating, with an extension arm attached to, or part of, the bent projecting arm of the push/pull handle. The seated user's weight transfers directly to the floor by a U-shaped underseat support, preventing the cart from moving, and when the handle is down, for cart movement, the downward rotation retracts the seat up to stowed position with a torsion spring. The seat can be installed on a corner post of the cart structure, manually rotated to level position around the cart's corner, providing seating at either side, or back of the cart, and in stow position rests against cart structure. In all embodiments multiple stacking of carts is allowed.

The brush component is molded into one end of the handle, and the opposite end of the handle contains tubular recesses for holding two other dental tools. The invention includes four embodiments for holding, storing and ready retrieval of those tools. Two embodiments utilize a sliding button that extends the components out of internal recess chambers in the body of the toothbrush handle, the first one extends the components out of each end of the toothbrush handle, and the second one extends the tools out of the opposite end of the toothbrush, from the brush end. A third embodiment rotates the tools out of a covered recess chamber in the toothbrush handle and the fourth embodiment utilizes a knurled sleeve to extend the components out of the toothbrush handle.
