    Abstract: A particulate material spreader for radially projecting granular material. The particulate material spreader comprises a hopper, a set of open wheels and a spreading assembly at least partially extending between the hopper and the set of open wheels. The spreading assembly is configured to radially project the particulate material through at least one wheel of the set of open wheels. The spreading assembly comprises a wheel axle extending between the open wheels and rotating along with the open wheels when the particulate material spreader is moved over a surface; a distribution shaft operatively connected to the wheel axle to rotate along therewith; and a distribution plate. The distribution plate is mounted to the distribution shaft, receives the particulate material from the hopper and radially projects the particulate material substantially through at least one wheel of the set of open wheels.

The support casing has a base mounted to a gas turbine engine proximate the gas path. The first wall extends radially into the gas path. The throughbores are provided at positions corresponding to different gas path radii. Wire units each have an end directed to an own throughbore, and an end exiting through an outlet of the casing and connected to a processing unit. Retaining members in the casing constrain movement of the wire units. Probes for each of the throughbores are configured for measuring the temperature/pressure. The probes each have a connector end received in a non-integral relation in the throughbore and connected to an associated wire unit, whereby the probes in the non-integral relation with the support casing measure parameters in the gas path.

    Abstract: An apparatus for optical imaging of a breast is described, the apparatus comprising: a supporting platform for positioning a patient in a face down prone position, the platform having a cavity for the breast to be pendantly suspended therethrough; a flexible fluid-filled receptacle below the cavity holding an optical matching fluid for the optical imaging, wherein the breast is immersed in the fluid during the optical imaging; a supporting mechanism surrounding a perimeter of the receptacle for supporting the receptacle within the cavity and preventing it from falling through the cavity when holding the optical matching fluid; and a source and detector coupling device for orienting source and detector ports with respect to the receptacle and for contacting the receptacle to obtain a desired geometry of the breast and the optical matching fluid.

    Abstract: A configurable keypad assembly adapted for vehicular controls. A kit for assembling such a configurable keypad is also disclosed. The overlay is provided with identification markings. The keypad assembly includes a configurable keypad circuit provided with a plurality of switches responsive to pressure thereon. The keypad circuit is encased in a flexible sleeve that is shaped to fit over the circuit. The top surface of the sleeve has a number of independently pressable button areas in alignment with the switches, such that any pressure exerted on a given button area activates the switch under it. The assembly also includes means for securing the rigid fascia overlay over the button areas. The identification markings on the overlay, once installed, are in alignment with the button areas. The configurable keypad assembly has the flexibility of being distributed with or without the fascia overlay and can be made waterproof for marine applications.

    Abstract: A modular mask system comprises a frame for fitting over a user's head, and a set of interchangeable mask components. Each interchangeable mask components can be removeably attachable to the frame. Each of the interchangeable mask components is one of a top panel, a side panel assembly, an eyepiece and a nosepiece. The interchangeable side panel assemblies can be different sizes to accommodate the user's face or have different patterns or have different configurations of ventilation holes. The interchangeable eyepieces allow the user to choose from dual lenses and a single shield. The eyepieces can include optically powered lenses, shaded lenses, dual lenses tinted lenses, photochromatic lenses and polarized lenses.

Preferably, the membrane-like contour surface covers the entire surface area of the table. Alternatively, it can be limited to a section that will cover an area from approximately the bottom of the rib cage to the collar bone when the patient is lying face down on the table.
