  • Patent number: 6234326
Abstract: A display rack for a plurality of beverage bottles includes a base member with a plurality of vertically disposed channel members mounted thereon. Each channel member has a longitudinal slot and a keyway along the slot. The keyway or top of the slot receives the beverage bottles and holds the bottles by the neck ring which is larger in lateral dimension than the width of the slot. Bottles are dispensed one at a time through the keyway by moving a bottle up or down to align it in the keyway where it can be pulled laterally through the keyway.

  • Patent number: 6234325
Abstract: A display rack for displaying all sizes of beverage bottles has a single upright panel with a plurality of keyways. Each keyway receives and holds a beverage bottles by its neck ring. Each keyway has an arcuate upper portion, and arcuate lower portion smaller in dimension than the upper portion, and a generally straight intermediate portion connecting the upper and lower portions. Each keyway limits upward movement of one head of one bottle inserted therein while allowing the body of the bottle to tilt downward.

  • Patent number: 6209733
Abstract: A display rack for displaying all sizes of beverage bottles has a support column with a plurality of keyways. Each keyway receives and holds a beverage bottle by its neck ring. Each keyway limits upward movement of one head of one bottle inserted therein while allowing the body of the bottle to tilt downward to thereby hold the bottle by its neck. A plurality of brackets, each having a keyway, can be fastened to the support column with each bracket having a lower connecting flange fastened to the support column and an upper positioning flange. The brackets can be fastened to one another forming a vertical column without the vertical support member. Each bracket has a lower horizontally oriented connecting flange and an angled upper positioning to cause a bottle to tilt downward when inserted in the keyway. The keyways can be formed in the support column without brackets or the brackets can surround the support column forming platforms.

  • Patent number: 5730445
Abstract: A sealing ring for sealing axially facing annular surfaces having an annular bight portion and annular first and second leg portions. The annular bight portion having a first end and a second end, with an arcuate concave surface and an arcuate convex surface. The annular first leg portion having a first curved section extending from the first end of the bight portion and a second curved section extending from the first curved section to a first free end, the first and second curved sections each having an arcuate concave surface and an arcuate convex surface. The convex surface of the second curved section forms a first annular sealing surface. An annular second leg portion having a third curved section extending from the second end of the bight portion and a fourth curved section extending from the end of the third curved section to a second free end. The third and fourth curved sections each having an arcuate concave surface and an arcuate convex surface.

  • Patent number: 5674384
Abstract: A shifter mechanism for a filter press, which shifter mechanism incorporates a vibrating mechanism for effecting bumping of individual filter plates during the separation thereof from the closed stack to assist in dislodgement of filter cake from the individual filter plates. The vibrating device can selectively vibrate or bump the individual filter plates responsive to the weight of the filter plate being bumped, whereby the vibrating device will be activated only upon sensing a filter plate having a weight greater than a predetermined value so as to be indicative of an undesired quantity of filter cake being adhered thereto.

  • Patent number: 5194666
Abstract: An improved process for the synthesis of esters of 3,5,6-trichlorosalicylic acid in quantitative yield comprises reacting the acid with an alcohol under distillation conditions in the presence of a titanium ester or chelate catalyst, whereby byproduct ether formation from the alcohol is suppressed. The process is especially applicable to a process by which salicylic acid is chlorinated first in concentrated sulfuric acid and then with iodine catalyst to make the trichlorosalicylic acid which is extracted and then reacted with an alcohol and a titanium catalyst to make the ester.
