  • Patent number: 5116015
Abstract: A security mounting in which two parallel plates are relatively slidable to trap headed clips which hold the plates together in the locked configuration. The plates are more ductile than a rigid surface to which one of them is adhesively joined so that prying forces bends the plates and they cannot then be separated by sliding movement. A skirted lock body frustrates prying forces.

  • Patent number: 5013000
Abstract: An article to be protected from unauthorized removal is enbraced by a continuous unhinged band. The band has band flanges which can releasably be held to one another to hold the article. A U-shaped retainer connected to the band has two retention flanges to overhang the article. The article is thereby protected against unauthorized removal in any direction.

  • Patent number: 4893777
Abstract: A two-plate security device. Each plate has a set of similar but opposite directed keyhole slots releasably to be joined by a headed coupler with heads that cannot pass through the neck of the slots, but can pass through a larger opening of the slot. Sliding the plates in-plane relative to one another traps the couplers and holds the plates together. Reversing the movement releases them. The slots are formed in a nonrectangular pattern so as to facilitate correct alignment of the plates when the device is being assembled. Alignment pins and slots are also shown, and also a band to be held by the device to encircle a protected device.

  • Patent number: 4858878
Abstract: A device for the securing of protected articles such as computers to the side or a top of a desk, which includes a base plate having an adhesive pad secured between the base plate and the desk or other object. A plurality of posts rise from the base and are engaged by a second plate. The protected article is placed in the spacing between the plates and between the posts. Releasable locking means holds this engagement of the second plate to the posts. A retention bracket is restrained to the assembled plates and posts and includes a pair of shoulders overhanging the spacing between the plates to prevent removal of the article from the spacing.
