  • Publication number: 20250009291
Abstract: A system is provided for monitoring gum recession. A nozzle is for application to the teeth and gums and a fluid is pumped to a nozzle opening. A sensor is provided for sensing a pressure or flow rate so that a pressure or flow rate profile is derived as the nozzle is moved between a tooth surface and a gum surface. From characteristics of the pressure or flow rate profile at the transition between the tooth surface and the gum surface, the presence of gum recession can be detected.

  • Publication number: 20240419981
Abstract: In general, embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods and computer readable media for automated dynamic data quality assessment. One aspect of the subject matter described in this specification includes the actions of receiving a data quality job including a new data sample; and, if the new data sample is determined to be added to a reservoir of data samples, sending a quality verification request to an oracle; receiving a new data sample quality estimate from the oracle; and adding the new data sample and estimate to the reservoir. A second aspect of the subject matter includes the actions of receiving, from a predictive model, a judgment associated with a new data sample; analyzing the new data sample based in part on the judgment to determine whether to send a new data sample quality verification request to an oracle; and, if a new data sample quality estimate is received from the oracle, determining whether to add the new data sample and the judgment to the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 12164689
Abstract: Method starts with processor causing virtual reality (VR) interface for communication session to be displayed on first user interface of a first head-wearable apparatus and on second user interface of second head-wearable apparatus. Processor detects first touch input from first VR input device and second touch input from second VR input device. Processor monitors location of the first touch input within the first user interface and location of the second touch input within second user interface. Processor determines distance between location of the first touch input within first user interface and location on first user interface corresponding to location of second touch input within second user interface. Processor causes first and second VR input devices to generate haptic feedback response based on the distance. Haptic feedback response increases in intensity or speed as distance decreases and decreases in intensity or speed as distance increases. Other embodiments are described herein.

  • Publication number: 20240390636
Abstract: A method is directed to controlling a sleep environment and includes providing a control system that is communicatively coupled to one or more sleep contributors. The control system is configured to adjust the one or more sleep contributors and monitor, via one or more sensors, a physical condition of the user that is indicative of a sleep state of the user. A change is detected in the physical condition that indicates onset of an initial sleep state of the user, in response to which at least one sleep contributor is automatically adjusted to begin inducing a deeper sleep state for the user. The inducing guides the user from the initial sleep state to a subsequent sleep state, without user conscious effort, the subsequent sleep state being associated with a deeper sleep for the user than the initial sleep state.

  • Patent number: 12151150
Abstract: A ground traversing, electrically driven drone travels along a preprogrammed path that corresponds to pass catcher's travel path during a play, matching the pass catcher's speed and run cuts. The play is wirelessly communicated to the drone by a handheld electronic device located remote of the drone. A target is located on the drone so that a quarterback can throw a football at the target in order to refine the quarterback's timing and accuracy for the play. Sensors onboard the drone track both the football's and quarterback's speed and travel trajectories so that such data can be collected, along with the drone's travel path, and stored onboard the drone's control unit and eventually fed into 3-D reconstruction software for analysis by the quarterback and coaching staff. The target rotates so that the target either faces in a fixed direction or constantly faces the quarterback during execution of drone's maneuvers.

  • Patent number: 12149430
Abstract: Network route control plane data, advertised by one or more routers on a network, is received from a passive discovery module. The passive discovery module is configured to communicate with the routers using one or more routing protocols, but not to advertise route data. The received network route control plane data is compared to network element data stored in a network element database. If the received network route control plane data is not contained in the network element database, the received network route control plane data is stored in the network element database. If the received network route control plane data is contained in the network element data database, the received network route control plane data is compared to target asset data stored in a target asset database. If the received network route control plane data is not contained in the target asset database, the received network route control plane data is stored in the target asset database.
