  • Publication number: 20200079162
Abstract: A valve stem assembly, incorporating an expansion part, having a tapered inner portion that can be forcefully applied into the rim aperture of a tire, and having an outer portion that and into which an insert is applied, and into which insert a valve stem threadedly engages, when assembling the valve stem assembly of this invention.

  • Patent number: 10149433
Abstract: A combination blade and cord weed cutter-trimmer head apparatus that incorporates a mounting head, having a base plate, that mounts an electric or gas motor, its motor shaft extending downwardly, and through an adapter connects with generally through the cutter blade, with the shaft extending further downwardly for connecting with the string trimmer head of the device. Thus, the device can cut thicker weeds and brush through the application of its cutter blade, and can cut the shortened weeds down to an acceptable level through the usage of the string trimmer. Slip clutches may be incorporated within the device, to allow the motor shaft to continue rotating, in the event that the cutter blade encounters an unmovable obstacle, that prevents its rotation.

  • Patent number: 6907832
Abstract: A granular material spreader for a mower other a apparatus including a support column, having a support plate attached to its bottom, for supporting the spreader thereon, the spreader being mounted to the shaft of the motor which when energized turns the spreader for usage. A bracket attaching to the support column supports the hopper, for holding granular material, the bottom of the hopper including a series of apertures, and a control plate, to regulate the dispensing and spreading of granular material. A pivot lever energized to a solenoid initiates the dispensing, or containment, of spreading of granular material. The control plate includes an adjustment further regulating the amount of granular material dispensed from the hopper.

  • Publication number: 20040069194
Abstract: A granular material spreader for a mower or other apparatus, including a support column, having a support plate attached to it's bottom, for supporting the spreader thereon, the spreader being mounted to the shaft of the motor which when energized, turns the spreader for usage. A bracket attaching to the support column supports the hopper, into which granular material may be deposited, the bottom of the hopper includes a series of apertures, and a control plate pivotally mounted to the underside of the hopper bottom, and which when pivoted, provides for a full or partial opening of the flow apertures in the hopper bottom, or their closure, as when granular material dispensing and spreading is curtailed. A pivot lever mounts onto a plate, further supported by the support column, the lever is pivoted through energization of the solenoid, to initiate the dispensing, or not, of the granular material.

  • Patent number: 6502771
Abstract: Various instruments are provided to the structural chassis of a riding or standing mower, in order to accessorize various equipment that may be applied thereto, or readily removed, as required. These include tubular mounting brackets, that may secure, normally, permanently to the structural framework of the chassis, and accept the mounting thereto of the framework of any accessory, when installed in preparation for usage, or quickly removed, when no longer required. In addition, this invention provides mechanism for controlling the operations of the pivotal gate used in conjunction with, more specifically, a fertilizer spreader, and electrifies its functioning, so that the spreader can be initiated and applied through the application of a single ignition switch, which may be operated by the hand, or ever as a foot lever, to commence the operations of the spreader, or to immediately shut it off, as required by the operator.
