  • Publication number: 20050021219
Abstract: A method and an arrangement for controlling the drive unit of a vehicle make possible the jolt-free enablement of a rapid actuating path (5) for the conversion of a desired value for an output quantity of the drive unit. The desired value for the output quantity of the drive unit is pregiven. Depending upon the operating state of the drive unit, an actual value for the output quantity is caused to track the desired value via a slow actuating path (1) or the rapid actuating path (5). With a transition from the slow actuating path (1) to the rapid actuating path (5), the desired value, starting from the wanted value, is first set equal to the actual value and thereafter is limited in its change and is again brought back to the wanted value.

  • Patent number: 6748857
Abstract: A printing press with crop mark setting device and process is provided. A printing couple for printing on a web is used with a lengthwise cutting device for cutting the printed web lengthwise into a first web strand and at least one second web strand. A convergence device converges the web strands or for converging the web strands with at least one other web strand each to provide one or more converged web strands, the convergence device including a turning bar device. A cross-cutting device cross-cuts the converged web strands. A crop mark sets a crop mark of the web strands that is related to the cross cutting. The crop mark setting device has a first deflecting device for deflecting the first web strand around a first deflection axis and a second deflecting device for deflecting the second web strand around a second deflection axis.

  • Patent number: 6466852
Abstract: The invention proceeds from a vehicle having a clutch and a transmission. The clutch is mounted in the drive train of the motor vehicle and the transmission is mounted in the drive train and is changeable with respect to its transmission ratio. Furthermore, means are provided which generate a clutch signal which represents the actuation of the clutch. The essence of the invention is that a change of the transmission ratio is detected. According to the invention, monitoring means are provided by means of which a fault signal is generated in dependence upon the recognized change and the generated clutch signal. The fault signal indicates whether the means, which generates the clutch signal, operates properly. A further variation of the invention evaluates the clutch actuation with the first start of movement of the vehicle after the engine start.

  • Patent number: 6418907
Abstract: A method and an arrangement for operating a drive unit of a vehicle are suggested. A desired value is preset and an actual value corresponding to the desired value is determined. The desired value is filtered in at least one operating situation. At the start of filtering, the filter is initialized with the determined actual value.
