  • Patent number: 10750734
Abstract: An agricultural machine for discharging liquid includes a boom, a frame to which the boom is fixed such that the boom can be rotated about an axis of rotation pointing in the direction of travel, an actuating cylinder for rotating the boom about the axis of rotation, and a measurement and control system for the actuation of the actuating cylinder, wherein the actuating cylinder is mechanically connected to the frame on one side. The actuating cylinder is mechanically connected to the boom on the other side for the direct introduction of force. The actuating cylinder is formed as a double-acting actuating cylinder having a piston, to which pressure can be applied on both sides in order to move the boom in opposite directions of rotation.

  • Patent number: 10066645
Abstract: A turbine valve actuator (100) controls a valve unit of a media-operated consumer unit, such as a steam or gas turbine, and has an actuating part drive (102) with a movable actuating part (104), a first media space (106) and a second media space (108). A pressure build up in the first media space (106) attempts to cause a movement of the actuating part (104) in a first direction (R). A pressure build-up in the second media space (108) attempts to cause a movement of the actuating part (104) in an opposing second direction (GR). The first media space (106) can be supplied with a fluid in predeterminable amounts by a supply (110). The second media space (108) is acted upon by a hydraulic accumulator (112) provided with a preload pressure and permanently connected to the second media space (108).

  • Publication number: 20150275931
Abstract: The invention relates to a turbine valve actuator (300) for Controlling at least one valve unit of a media-operated consumer unit, such as a steam or gas turbine, having an actuating part drive (102) which has a movable actuating part (104), at least one first media space (106) and at least one second media space (108), wherein a pressure build up in the first media space (106) attempts to cause a movement of the actuating part (104) in a first direction (R) and a pressure build-up in the second media space (108) attempts to cause a movement of the actuating part (104) in an opposing second direction (GR), wherein the first media space (106) can be supplied with a fluid in predeterminable amounts by means of a supply arrangement (110) and the second media space (108) is acted upon by an energy accumulator (112).

  • Patent number: 4938252
Abstract: The invention relates to an electrically activated two-way throttle valve. The opening stroke of the valve piston is determined by an electrical desired value. To control the valve a circuit is provided to obtain a predetermined flow relation in response to the valve member position. According to the invention the pressure difference prevailing at the valve is measured. The pressure differential signal is exponentiated with an exponent. The product of this exponential function and of an input signal defines the desired value for the valve member position. By selecting different values for the exponent, the volume of flow in response to the valve member position is adjusted to an optimum and still further a variety of valve functions may be obtained to operate the valve as flow controlled or pressure controlled for example.
