Patent number: 11951564Abstract: A method determines translational and/or rotational deviations between the measurement coordinate system of a measurement mirror scanner and the processing coordinate system of a processing mirror scanner. A measurement beam reflected at a workpiece returns on a path of an incident measurement beam and is captured by a spatially resolving measurement sensor to ascertain spatially resolving information of the workpiece. The reflected measurement beam, in a sensor image of the measurement sensor, is imaged onto a previously known image position. This is accomplished by ascertaining a focal position deviation of the processing beam by scanning with the processing beam, evaluating a laser power detected at grid points, fixing the processing mirror scanner, capturing spatially resolving height information of the pinhole diaphragm by the measurement sensor, and determining a translational deviation between the processing and measurement coordinate systems based on the deviation.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2019Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignees: TRUMPF Laser- und Systemtechnik Gm H, TRUMPF Laser GmbHInventors: Martin Stambke, Jan-Patrick Hermani, Thomas Notheis, Alexander Sauter

Patent number: 8966607Abstract: A method is provided for filtering unwanted packets in a communication system. The communication system includes a first network, a wireless network and at least one wireless communication device. An instruction to add an entry to a blocked list is received from a specific wireless device. The entry includes blocking criteria. A first packet is received from the first network. Patent number: 8649814Abstract: A method of managing a call group by a number of mobile devices in a mobile telecommunications network. The mobile telecommunications network includes a serving node in communication with the mobile devices. The method includes a network node identifying a radio access node adjacent a first radio access node. The method also includes a serving node creating the group call area on basis of the first and adjacent radio access nodes. The method also includes establishing a signalling channel within a cell corresponding to the adjacent radio access node. The signalling channel includes an identifier corresponding to the group call area. The radio access nodes, or base stations, that have established a data communications channel with the mobile communications device have traffic and signalling channels established therein and are marked as an active cell of the group call area.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2013Date of Patent: February 11, 2014Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Joerg Becker, Martin Sauter, Timothy Longman

Patent number: 7650142Abstract: A method for setting up a conference call where the subscribers are not only concentrated in one area but also more widely dispersed. The method allows both groups of subscribers to be contacted for a conference call with individuals close to the point of origination of the conference call being connected to a shared channel call and any members further out being connected to the conference call using individual channels. Members who initially started with an individual channel can move closer to the point of origin and automatically join the shared channel. This is of particular use to the emergency services where they may need to co-ordinate members arriving at the scene or performing related actions further away from the scene of the emergency.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2004Date of Patent: January 19, 2010Assignee: Nortel Networks LimitedInventors: Timothy Longman, Martin Sauter, Frederic Carrier, Thomas Altwein, Darin Currie

Publication number: 20040209623Abstract: In a public land mobile network comprising a base station and a plurality of mobile subscribers, each subscriber is assigned at least one of a plurality of access classes, and the base station broadcasts signalisation to all subscribers comprising selected access classes which are barred from access to the network upon receipt of the signalisation. The load condition of the network is checked in regular time periods, and the number of barred access classes is increased or decreased dependent on whether a load threshold value is exceeded or not. Each time period is divided in a plurality of sub-intervals in which a rotation of the selected access classes is made to evenly distribute the bar to access onto the plurality of subscribers.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2003Publication date: October 21, 2004Applicant: Nortel Networks LimitedInventors: Martin Sauter, Fritz Paul, Frank Billenkamp, Olivier Paterour
