  • Patent number: 7895097
Abstract: A system for financial computation and revenue remittance over a network. A first-server providing e-content to users. A second receiving data from the first server and parsing the data. A third server receiving transactional data from the second server, parsing the data received for XML-based data and for interpreting the XML-based data for selected data processing operations. The XML-based data is stored by the third server in a first selected file of a first database, any taxes due on the corresponding transaction is computed and stored in a second selected first database file. A fourth server receiving XML-based data from the third server, converting the second selected first database file from an XML-based format to a TXP-based format for receipt by an automated clearinghouse network, and periodically transmitting the second file to a selected financial institution for remission of funds corresponding to the transactional data to the government authority.

  • Publication number: 20050119953
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a specific, illustrative multilayer architecture for a program controlled system for providing services relating to financial data computation, report remittance and funds transfer services over an interactive communications network. The system comprises a subscriber server for hosting a virtual portal having at least one application for providing e-content to end users, the application including a network browser for accessing, displaying and transmitting data over the network. A first service provider server allows a system administrator to access the system remotely. A first security system for protecting the system from entry of unwanted data during data transfer over the network between the subscriber and service provider servers and the interactive communications network level. Also provided are plurality of primary servers including a primary network server, a primary tax computation server, a primary report generation server and a primary tax remittance server.

  • Publication number: 20040268214
Abstract: An export management system includes a store of information about pending transactions, and a computer. The transactions have already been evaluated with respect to a set of constraints (e.g., export regulations). The computer is programmed to automatically re-evaluate the transactions when any constraints on the transactions are changed.

  • Publication number: 20040260477
Abstract: according to one aspect of the present invention, regulatory classification of a product is performed by using a computer to search a database for at least one classification covering the product; outputting a classification if the classification is found in the database; and, if no classification is found, ascertaining at least one classification in a different manner and entering any ascertained classifications to the database.

  • Publication number: 20030105686
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a specific, illustrative apparatus, system and method for transmitting tax related data to a selected financial institution, reporting the data and remitting funds corresponding to the data, over an interactive communications network, to a selected government authority. The system comprises a first function for receiving an XML-based transaction request from a program controlled tax computation system. This function also verifies the validity of the request and replies to the system with an XML-based response, preferably including a transaction identifier. A second function, desirably modular in form, verifies the validity of the XML form request from the tax computation system. It also stores such valid transaction request in a database. Next, a third function transforms the request into a master XML-based request and stores the master request in the database. A fourth function then notifies an authorized third party, i.e.

  • Publication number: 20030101111
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a program controlled apparatus, a system, a method and a service for financial data computation and revenue remittance over an interactive communications network. The system comprises a first server has at least one application for providing e-content to end users. A second server has at least one application for receiving data from the first server and parsing the data received. A communications infrastructure links the first server to the second. A third server is also provided having at least one application for receiving transactional data from the second server, parsing the data received for XML-based data and for interpreting the XML-based data for selected data processing operations. The XML-based data is stored by the third server in a first selected file of a first database, any taxes due on the corresponding transaction is computed, the tax due is, in turn, stored in a second selected first database file.
