  • Patent number: 6810568
Abstract: A protector system for a soft flexible refrigeration line as it exits an exterior wall of a building. The system comprises an elongated inflexible tube, made of such as PVC or the like, which extends through an opening in the wall of the building, with a portion of tube extending into the gap between the interior and the exterior wall and a portion of the tubing extending outside of the wall. The refrigeration line would run through the tube, and extend from the outer most end of the tubing projecting out from the wall. There would further be provided a cut or etched line along the exterior portion of the tube, so that should the soft flexible refrigerant line which extends from the outer end of the tube be crimped at that point, the part of the exterior tube extending from the cut or etched line could be then snapped or cut off, which would expose a portion of the flexible refrigerant line that is not crimped.

  • Patent number: 6651854
Abstract: A cell phone carrying case which includes an elongated pocket for insertion of the cell phone thereinto, the pocket including an orifice for the antenna of the phone to protrude therethrough. There is further included an upper flap member which includes a vertical slot therein for allowing a belt loop of pants or like garment to fit therethrough, so that when a belt is passed through the loop, the flap is engaged between the belt and the pants or garment during carrying. The flap is of such a length that the carrying case portion of the carrier can be rolled up so that the phone is engaged tightly against the belt loop and belt when the flap is engaged in the closed or sealed position. There could be further included a pocket for holding a pen or the like for writing as one would be using the phone.

  • Patent number: 6440043
Abstract: A jump rope combination, which includes a single length of jump rope being sufficiently long to allow a large adult to use, a handle detachably secured to each end of the length of rope, each handle comprising a body portion for gripping by the hand, a bore in the body portion for threading each end of the rope therethrough to a desired length, and a continuous channel formed in the outer wall of the body portion for allowing the excess length of rope extending from the handle to be secured within the continuous channel, so that the body may be gripped. In a second embodiment, the rope includes conventional handles having a continuous channel in the handles for allowing excess rope to reside in the channels for determining the various lengths of the jump rope.

  • Patent number: 6206295
Abstract: A “designer” thermostat also known as the “comfort-stat” which is mountable on the wall or the like having a first temperature range bar extending from a low point of 70 to a high point of 78, appearing in red, and a second temperature range bar extending from a high point of 78 to a low point of 70, appearing in blue. There would further be included a heat/cool button, and an on/auto/fan button, so that for example, when the thermostat is set on cool, the movable indicator would move along the blue bar between 70 and 78 with a digital read out of the temperature of the room on the face of the comfort stat, and when the thermostat is set on heat, the movable indicator would be set on the read bar between 70 and 78 with a digital read out of the temperature of the room. There would further be provided a mounting means for mounting the comfort stat on the wall with a void space between the thermostat for housing of the control wires between the rear face of the thermostat and the wall.

  • Patent number: 6105198
Abstract: An improved blower wheel blade cleaner, which is hand held, and includes a first handle portion for grasping the apparatus, and a second cleaning portion. The cleaning portion comprises a double row of elongated teeth extending outward from the handle portion with the first row terminating in a single plane along the outward edge of the cleaning teeth, and the second row extending adjacent the first row forming a concave V-shape at the end of the first row. There is further provided that the first row of teeth has a slight bend at the end portion of the row, and likewise, the inner row of teeth forming the V-shape likewise having a slight bend in their configuration for use of the tool. There is further provided the fact that the two rows of teeth are secured to the handle portion via soldering or the like, and there may be included a movable tensioner band movable along the lengths of the teeth as the case may be.

  • Patent number: 5882042
Abstract: A connector body at the end of a freon line, of the type which is freely rotatable on the line, and is able to move from a first position adjacent the freon hose surrounding the line to a second position at the end of the line for threadably engaging an air conditioner or the like, the nut in its passage moving past an elbow bend in the line. The connector would comprise at least a connector body having a width substantially wider than the width of a grasping forefinger and thumb, and further comprising a counter bore along its rear end portion, so that as the connector moves from its first position through the elbow of the line, the bend in the line would travel within a portion of the counter bore and allow the nut to slide between its first and second positions without jamming in its passage along the elbow bend.

  • Patent number: 5797500
Abstract: An improved gun rack having a unitary body including a vertical upright base portion, which could be secured to a door or the like structure, a first upper arcuate arm, extending outward and away from the base portion, for securing the upper portion or barrel of the gun, and a lower horizontal foot member extending outward from the base portion upon which the trigger housing would be secured so that the trigger housing, when engaged by the foot member would allow the rifle to lean into the arcuate arm and be secured therein. The improved gun rack would be positioned vertically on a door, and would not extend outward from the door more than the relative thickness of the weapon itself, as the weapon was held upright within the rack. There may be further included a cushion on the arcuate end lower arms so that the metallic surfaces of the gun would not be tarnished when making contact with the gun rack.

  • Patent number: 5755105
Abstract: A sensor apparatus, which is threadably engaged into the auxiliary drain orifice in the drain pan. The sensor includes a pair of water contact points on a first end, which is on the threaded end of the sensor, so that should fluid or water make contact with the points, it effects a bridge across the points for creating a circuit there across. Upon this occurring, the electrical components contained within the sensor would relay a message through the thermostat wire, to the air conditioning system which would automatically shut the system down. Likewise, there is on the second end of the sensor a fluid high level indicator light, which would glow when this eventuality occurs. Therefore, when the owner would attempt to restart the system, the system would not reactivate. Therefore, upon inspection of the coils, etc.

  • Patent number: 4286613
Abstract: A gate valve, mounted in a drain pipe connected to a downstream exposed end of a part of a plumbing system subject to occasional freezing, is controlled to open and close by opposed pressures of a spring and a temperature controlled pressure of a refrigerant fluid in an expansible and contractable bellows, the respective pressures being equalized at 33 degrees F. with gate valve closed, the pressure differentials therebetween resulting from temperature changes progressively opening and closing valve at temperatures below 33 degrees F. and closing it and keeping it closed at 33 degrees F. and above, and thereby preventing the plumbing from freezing, by allowing water to flow therethrough at and below freezing.
