  • Patent number: 9581689
Abstract: A system that reads and writes information from and onto a non-contact information recording medium using an electric wave includes a reader/writer and a measuring unit. The reader/writer includes an antenna configured to transmit an electric wave onto the non-contact information recording medium, a demodulator configured to demodulate a reflected wave obtained by the non-contact information recording medium modulating a part of the electric wave, and a calculator configured to obtain a delay time of the reflected wave. The measuring unit measures a difference in delay times calculated by the calculator, and obtains a change in a distance between the antenna mediating transmission/reception of the electric wave and the non-contact information recording medium.

  • Publication number: 20150308977
Abstract: The present invention is intended to provide a method and a device for detecting a biomolecule with high sensitivity and high throughput over a wide dynamic range without requiring concentration adjustments of a sample in advance. The present invention specifically binds charge carriers to a detection target biomolecule, and detects the detection target biomolecule one by one by measuring a current change that occurs as the conjugate of the biomolecule and the charge carriers passes through a micropore. High-throughput detection of a biomolecule sample is possible with an array of detectors.

  • Patent number: 9051999
Abstract: A variator (2) having a pair of semi-toroidally recessed races (11, 12) mounted to a housing (6) for rotation about a common variator axis. A roller (14) is mounted between the races to transfer drive between them at a variable drive ratio. A sun gear (25) is mounted between the races, as is a ring (gear 26). The ring gear is radially outboard of the sun gear. Mounted between the sun and ring and meshing with both is a carrier gear (33) upon which the roller is mounted in a manner which enables it to both spin about its own axis, when turned by the races, and also to tilt relative to the races to vary the drive ratio. A control pinion (27) is also arranged between the sun and ring gears meshing with both. The control pinion is able to rotate about its own axis freely, but the pinion axis is fixed with respect to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20140178620
Abstract: Provided is the following film for a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape in which a non-pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is provided on a base material film. In the case where dicing or the like is performed by performing adsorption fixation to a fixing base with a negative pressure, the occurrence of excessive close adhesion due to, for example, the heat generation of the base can be effectively suppressed. In addition, the non-pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is provided on the base material film, and hence blocking in a roll shape is effectively suppressed, the film for a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape does not tear or break upon its unwinding from the roll shape, conformity between the non-pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the base material film is good, and followability to a deformation such as stretching is good. Also provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape including such film for a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape.
