    Abstract: A comparator circuit has a selection circuit for receiving an input signal, a reference signal, and a selection signal, for generating an inverted input signal which is made by inverting the input signal, for selecting the reference signal during a normal operation mode and selecting the inverted input signal during a test operation mode according to a level of the selection signal and a comparator section for receiving the reference signal or the inverted input signal selected by the selection circuit and for receiving the input signal, for comparing the selected signal and the received signal, and for transmitting a comparison result to outside of the comparator circuit.
