    Abstract: A butt arrangement of two trim parts to be attached on the inner surface of a body panel for use in a vehicle such as an automobile, comprises a first and a second transverse portion. The first trim part includes a first longitudinal portion extending along the inner surface of the body panel and the first transverse portion. The first transverse portion extends from an edge on the vehicle passengers side of the first longitudinal portion toward the body panel at an obtuse angle to the first longitudinal portion. The second trim part includes the second transverse portion and a second longitudinal portion extending along the inner surface of the body panel.

    Abstract: Polypropylene interior parts for autocars having overcome the drawback of their permanent bulge or secondary deformation due to high temperature exposure is provided, which parts are obtained by molding a material comprising a propylene-ethylene block copolymer prepared by polymerizing propylene at a first stage so that the resulting propylene homopolymer can have a relation between its isotactic pentad ratio (P) and MFR of1.00.gtoreq.P.gtoreq.0.015 log MFR+0.955and can occupy 70 to 95% by weight of the total polymerization quantity, followed by polymerizing ethylene or ethylene and propylene in 30 to 5% by weight of the total polymerization quantity at at least one stage, so as to give an ethylene content occupying 3 to 12% by weight of the total polymerization quantity.

    Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided an improved anchoring structure for a self-standing seat belt unit adapted to be anchored to a side portion of a vehicle seat.The anchoring structure comprises a support member which is mounted on the side portion of the vehicle seat and which is formed with an elongated opening. A guide member has a finger portion which projects toward the inside of the support member through the opening. The finger portion is movable within the opening and abuttingly engageable with the end walls of the opening to limit the extent of swinging movement of the self-standing seat belt unit.

    Abstract: A luggage compartment cover apparatus for openably closing a luggage compartment which is formed on the rear portion of an automotive vehicle having a rear opening gradually narrowed in the upward and frontward direction. The luggage compartment cover can be opened and closed without causing interference by contacting the side edges thereof against back pillars, and can completely cover the luggage compartment. The luggage compartment cover apparatus comprises a luggage compartment cover, per se expansible at least in the lateral direction and guide means fixedly secured on the inner surface of a rear door for closing the rear opening. The rear sides of the luggage compartment cover are movably associated with the guide means so as to be expanded and contracted with respect to opening and closing of the luggage compartment cover.
