An acquisition unit that acquires difference information concerning a difference of a distance between the platen and each of the nozzle on an upstream side and the nozzle on a downstream side in a conveyance direction of the print medium. The adjustment unit adjusts the distance based on a detection result of the first detection unit and the difference information acquired by the acquisition unit.

    Abstract: A magnetic sheet is used as a noise reduction member for a cable. The magnetic sheet has a width of 5 mm to 15 mm. The magnetic sheet has a magnetic layer and a protective layer. The magnetic layer comprises soft-magnetic particles and a binder. Each of the soft-magnetic particles has a flat shape. A content of the soft-magnetic particles in the magnetic layer is from 35 vol % to 40 vol % with respect to the overall volume of the magnetic layer. The binder is made of polyacrylic rubber or of mixture of polyacrylic rubber and nitrile rubber. The binder binds the soft-magnetic particles to each other. A content of the binder in the magnetic layer is from 35 vol % to 65 vol % with respect to the overall volume of the magnetic layer. The protective layer reinforces the magnetic layer.

    Abstract: A method of reclaiming waste polyvinyl chloride according to the present invention includes the steps of bringing industrial waste containing polyvinyl chloride into contact with a solvent in which polyvinyl chloride can be dissolved, to remove polyvinyl chloride from the industrial waste, removing substances which cannot be dissolved in the solvent from a polyvinyl chloride solution consisting of the solvent and the polyvinyl dissolved therein, and recovering reclaimed polyvinyl chloride as a substance left over when the solvent is removed from the polyvinyl solution. The industrial waste to be reclaimed includes polyvinyl chips obtained from waste electric wires, polyvinyl chloride-impregnated wallpaper and used agricultural polyvinyl chloride sheets. The solvent used in the present invention consists of at least one kind of organic solvent selected from the group composed of methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone and dioctyl phthalate.
