    Abstract: A time control device provided in a water conditioning apparatus, and including a control mechanism, a main shaft, a main wheel rotating about the axis of the main shaft at a constant speed, and a skipper wheel rotating about the axis of the main shaft and rotated by the main wheel through a predetermined angle. The control mechanism controls a flow of liquid in the apparatus in accordance with a rotation of the main shaft, to carry out a liquid treatment. A pin engageable with a projection cam formed on a housing is provided at the main wheel to rotate the skipper wheel through the predetermined angle, and a finger member is provided on the skipper wheel to transmit the predetermined angle rotation to the main shaft, so that the main shaft drives the control mechanism to control the flow.

    Abstract: The towel dispenser adapted to store and supply a towel of undeterminate length. At least one of the unused and used portions of the towel is stored in the form of a roll on a shaft. The towel dispenser includes a pair of side walls each having at least one elongated hole. The portion of the side wall defining the inner peripheral edge of the elongated hole is obliquely bent towards each respective other side wall so as to form a tab projecting towards the other side wall. Each end of the shaft is rotatably and slidably received in the respective elongated hole defined by the respective tab, in such a manner that each end of the shaft does not project beyond the plane of the associated side wall.

    Abstract: A mop carrier is provided for mounting a mop and/or a brush to a mop handle. The mop carrier includes an elongated, continuous resilient blade having a first portion which extends downward at an acute angle, a second portion which curves around on itself and a third, straight portion which is horizontal and longer than the first portion. An upwardly open hollow cylindrical boss and connector are provided on the first portion near its outer end for mounting the mop carrier to the lower end of a mop handle. A hook is provided on the outside of the second portion for detachably retaining the loop of a mop that is sleeved on the third portion. And a set of flanges is provided on the third portion to permit a brush to be slidingly mounted on the third portion.

The mop carrier is pivotally mounted to a mop handle via a bearing arrangement that includes sleeves on the carrier and handle, pinned together with a pivot pin that is non-rotatable relative to the carrier but which provides for a limited degree of rotation of the mop carrier relative to the mop handle upon overcoming a moderate degree of friction between the pivot pin and mop handle bearing barrel that results from a snut fit between specially contoured surfaces of these two members.
