  • Patent number: 7670752
Abstract: A photosensitive resin composition which is excellent in storage stability required for one-part type compositions and in processability required for dry-film formation and gives a cured product suitable for FPC substrates or suspension substrates for hard-disc which each retains essential properties required for solder resists, such as heat resistance, water resistance, and electrical-insulation reliability, and has flexibility and low polluting property. The composition comprises: a compound which has a carbon-carbon double bond and carboxy group and is obtained by allowing a bisphenol type epoxy compound and an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid to react and then allowing a polybasic acid anhydride to undergo addition reaction with part or all of the secondary hydroxy groups of the reaction product; a urethane (meth)acrylate compound having a structure derived from a polycarbonate polyol structure; another polymerizable compound having a carbon-carbon double bond; and a photopolymerization initiator.

  • Patent number: 5981679
Abstract: The present invention provides an organopolysiloxane having acryloyl groups or methacryloyl groups at both terminals thereof, where silicon atoms at both terminals of the organopolysiloxane are each independently added to double bonds each of acryloyl groups or methacryloyl groups of compounds each having at least two acryloyl groups or methacryloyl groups; a curable resin composition comprising such an organopolysiloxane; and a process for producing such an organopolysiloxane comprising adding a compound having at least two acryloyl groups or methacryloyl groups to an organopolysiloxane having SiH groups at only both terminals thereof. The curable resin composition has distinguished transparency, luster, peelability, surface lubricity and water and oil repellency, and therefore is useful as a resin for mold-releasable paper, a coating agent, an anticorrosive agent for printed substrate, etc.

  • Patent number: 5517371
Abstract: A system for detecting the servo sectors of a rotating magnetic disk solely from read pulses representative of information read on the disk. Each servo sector has a first or intersector gap, an automatic gain control data zone, a second gap, and a track data zone. Sector pulses indicative of the servo sectors are generated when all these gaps and zones are detected. Preferably, for the production of a write enable signal, the sector pulses thus produced are further compared with window pulses obtained by imparting a prescribed delay to the sector pulses. Writing on the disk is enabled when the sector pulses agree in time with the window pulses.

  • Patent number: 5305156
Abstract: A hard disk drive is disclosed wherein data is so recorded on the disk that a transducer puts out a waveform having a positive peak followed by a negative peak for each bit representative of a logic one of the data. For eliminating the read error that will arise when the disk is accidentally magnetized on its track gaps or other regions which should have been left unmagnetized, a read circuit connected to the transducer is constructed to recreate the recorded data by detecting the negative peaks, instead of the positive peaks, of the transducer output waveform.

  • Patent number: 5123376
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a magnetic recording medium, including a device for oxidizing the surface of a thin magnetic film formed on a flexible carrier. A hermetic chamber is provided including a roll loading chamber for accommodating a supply roll of the carrier on which the thin magnetic film has been deposited in advance, a processing chamber, and a roll takeout chamber for accommodating a take-up roll of the carrier. A rotatable heating roll is disposed in the processing chamber. The carrier is guided from the supply roll accommodated in the roll loading chamber into the processing chamber and through a predetermined angle along the surface of the heating roll and then to the take-up roll accommodated in the takeout chamber. A baffle plate is provided near a peripheral surface of a portion of the heating roll on which the carrier is wound, and a plurality of nozzle units are provided in the plate for blowing gaseous oxygen or ozone toward the magnetic film.
