  • Patent number: 5859486
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a low cost, high performance, thin structure rotary motor for driving medium used in magnetic disk drive unit, optical disk drive unit or the like, in order to improve the productivity of terminating processing and the reliability of the coils. Magnetic materials which are divided to a plurality of blocks or divided corresponding to respective magnetic pole teeth are connected by means of thin portions. The respective magnetic pole teeth are wound continuously with wire without cutting the wire at the positions in which the thin portions are connected. When a stator is assembled, a plurality of blocks or magnetic pole teeth are disposed on a substrate by separating or bending the thin portions.

  • Patent number: 5651169
Abstract: Although the conventional continuous riveting machine was able to use exclusively a special blind rivet having a longer core-stem than that of the standard type, the continuous riveting machine according to the present invention is able to use the standard blind rivet and also able to recover separately torn core rivet stems and a blind rivet-holding belt made of plastic material enabling the supply of blind rivets in series. When a lower piston 600 descends in a jaw cylinder 400, a nose piece 620 integrated in one piece with the lower piston 600 also descends while bending downwardly plastic upper and lower tabs of the blind rivet-holding belt, and holding the blind rivet. Torn-core-stems are absorbed and stored in a torn core rivet stems storing case installed on the upper portion of the jaw cylinder by applying vacuum air absorbing force generated in a vacuum ejector.

  • Patent number: 5608592
Abstract: A retracting assembly produces a constant torque, in a data zone of a magnetic disk, which is greater than static friction of a bearing for a rotary actuator. However, in a parking zone on an outer portion of the magnetic disk, the retracting assembly generates a torque which suddenly increases so that a large holding torque is obtained and a magnetic head is reliably locked.

  • Patent number: 5601993
Abstract: Bile acids in the feces can be easily examined on a mass scale. Further, colon cancer at an early stage can be detected and the latent colon cancer can be diagnosed. The concentration of primary bile acid (CA) in the feces is measured by an ELISA method with the use of an anti-bile acid antibody for primary bile acid which comprises anti-cholic acid-24-bovine serum-rabbit serum, the concentration of secondary bile acid (DCA) in the feces is measured by an ELISA method with the use of an anti-bile acid antibody for secondary bile acid which comprises anti-deoxycholic acid-24-bovine serum-rabbit serum, and the concentration ratio (DCA/CA) of the secondary bile acid to the primary bile acid is calculated from the measured values.
