When any one of the registered representative image and the partial image is recognized. The pattern based on the alignment mark is detected. Thereby position coordinates can be recognized.

    Abstract: An automated teller machine having a plurality of independently operable customer operation stations, one or more cash handling mechanisms and a controller for controlling the operation of the customer operation stations and the cash handling mechanisms. The cash handling mechanisms are fewer in number than the customer operation stations, and are shared by the customer operation stations. If multiple customer operations stations try to concurrently access any one cash handling mechanism in a competing manner, the controller prioritizes the customer operation stations to minimize their idle time due to such an access conflict. Such a scheme enhances the operating efficiency of the cash handling mechanisms while keeping the overall cost of the automated teller machine per customer operation station relatively low.
