    Abstract: An opening and closing body control device includes a distance detection unit that detects a detection distance, which is a distance to a detected object around an opening and closing body, and a control unit. When a start command is input, the control unit determines whether the detected object is a moving object or a stationary object, sets a first or second collision determination distance as a collision determination distance depending on whether the detected object is moving or stationary. When the detection distance is smaller than the collision determination distance, the control unit controls the drive unit to stop operation of the opening and closing body.
