  • Publication number: 20140084710
Abstract: A cylindrical magnet of an oscillating actuator includes a plurality of divided magnet portions which are magnetized in the radial direction. Since adjacent magnet portions have different poles in the direction of an oscillation axis, magnetic poles do not repel each other when adhering the magnet portions and it is thus easy to adhere the magnet portions to each other. In addition to this construction of the magnet, a coil includes a plurality of divided coil portions corresponding to the magnet portions in the direction of the oscillation axis, and adjacent coil portions are wound in opposite directions to each other.

  • Publication number: 20140035397
Abstract: A first weight portion of a vibration actuator includes an inner-side enlarged portion that protrudes from an end portion of a solid head in a direction of a vibration axis and that is inserted into an opening portion extending within a first compression coil spring along the direction of the vibration axis. An outer peripheral surface of the inner-side enlarged portion becomes continuously smaller in diameter from a base end towards a free end, with the vibration axis being the center of the diameter. That is, the inner-side enlarged portion has the shape of a truncated cone. The inner-side enlarged portion is inserted into the opening portion of the first compression coil spring and the opening portion is utilized to change the length of the inner-side enlarged portion in the direction of the vibration axis, thereby changing the mass of the first weight portion.

  • Publication number: 20130041557
Abstract: An automatic steering apparatus that can suppress steering wheel vibration and that can also smooth angular control. In the automatic steering apparatus, a motor that steers steered wheels is controlled by a control unit. Information from an angle sensor that generates a signal that corresponds to a steering angle of the steered wheels is sent to the control unit. The control unit corrects a target steering angle of the steered wheels such that angular acceleration of the target steering angle is less than or equal to a limiting value. The control unit controls the motor such that the steering angle of the steered wheels tracks the corrected target steering angle based on the information from the angle sensor.
