  • Patent number: 6774447
Abstract: The package for mounting a solid state image sensor is a box-type resin package having in its bottom surface an opening for allowing light to pass so that a solid state image sensor may be mounted face down there. In the package, a three-dimensional circuit is formed which has a lead comprising a conductive metal plate making electrical conductance possible. The top surface of the inner lead of the lead is exposed on the inside bottom surface in the vicinity of the opening, and the top surface of the outer lead and the edge of the lead, following a bent section of the lead, are exposed on the side wall top surface of and the top edges of the side wall side surface of the aforesaid box-type resin package, respectively, with all the parts of the lead other than the exposed parts of both ends being embedded in the resin. Because of this, a small, thin package for mounting a solid state image sensor can be manufactured at low cost by using a simple process.

  • Patent number: 6761551
Abstract: The terminal connecting portion is covered at a rear portion with the molding resin 30 such that the covered rear portion is shaped in fusiform, and when the sheathed wire 10 is bent at this portion, the resin thereon is less peeled off. The molding part 43 of the die 40 is closed at one side with the elastic lid plates 9a, 9b opposing at an upper part and a lower part each other, and the terminal connecting portion is set to the molding part 43, and a part of the sheathed wire 10 extending rearwards from one side of the molding part 43 is elastically held by the elastic lid plates 9a, 9b upwards and downwards. The molten molding resin 30 is injected into the molding part 43 to cover almost the whole of the terminal connecting portion. Radiating fins are formed in a slope of the tapered hole in one side of the mold, said radiating fins having a plurality of parallel alternate concave grooves and convex ribs so as to improve the radiating effect of the molding resin 30 and shorten a cooling time.

  • Publication number: 20030179504
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a rotary head drum unit including a cylindrical drum surface and a magnetic head for recording/reproducing a signal to/from a magnetic tape running along the drum surface.. The magnetic head has a tape sliding surface adapted to come into sliding contact with the magnetic tape. The tape sliding surface of the magnetic head is positioned at a level lower than the height of the magnetic tape flying above the drum surface. The magnetic tape is brought into contact with the tape sliding surface by negative pressure. With this configuration, an increase in contact pressure of the magnetic tape sliding on the tape sliding surface of the magnetic head can be prevented and the contact pressure can be uniformed to thereby prevent a reduction and variations in magnetic recording or reproduction output.

  • Patent number: 6561465
Abstract: A clamp for holding a flat cable comprises a base, a cover, a projection extending from the base toward the cover, and a pair of cantilevers positioned at points symmetrical with respect to the center of the cover and extending toward the base. The base consists of a bottom and two sidewalls extending from the bottom and facing each other, and the flat cable is received in this bottom. The flat cable has a slit, and the projection is inserted into the slit when the base receives the flat cable. The cantilevers hold down the top surface of the flat cable when the cover is closed. The clamp also has a clip extending from the bottom of the base in a direction opposite to that of the projection. The clip allows the flat cable to be attached to, for example, an automobile body in a simple manner.
