    Abstract: A liquid filter and a liquid filtration apparatus are provided using the liquid filter, which enable uniform filtration over the entire range, without localizing a part where filtration occurs to the upper side above the middle. The liquid filter has a plurality of spacers fixed to a filter body. The filter body has a liquid inflow space, a plurality of diagonal fold parts individually formed outwards from corner parts of the liquid inflow space and having a length in the radial direction around the center of the liquid inflow space, and pocket parts having any one of the diagonal fold parts as one side, and individually having a triangular planar shape, and the spacers are fixed on the inner face of the filter paper, near the diagonal fold parts, and inside of the individual pocket parts.

Without using a large-scale press machine such as a progressive press and a transfer press, the cylinder member is manufactured by a smaller-sized press machine, thereby reducing equipment investment required for manufacturing the cylinder member.

A preferred embodiment provides a manufacturing device including: a compression punch that compresses a side wall portion of a raw material in an axial direction, the raw material including a bottom surface portion and the side wall portion which is cylindrical and provided to extend upright from an outer peripheral end portion of the bottom surface portion. A compression die disposed to face the compression punch in the axial direction and having a toothed shape formed on an inner peripheral surface. The compression punch contacts the compression die, and thereafter the compression die is pushed by the compression punch to form a toothed shape on the side wall portion while moving in the axial direction.

    Abstract: A bossed disc-like member manufacturing method and apparatus with which it is possible to simply form a boss portion with a desired height. The method includes a level difference formation step that moves a second portion, which is positioned on the inner peripheral side of a first portion in a radial direction of a disc-like blank, relative to the first portion in a first direction which is the thickness direction of the blank, thus forming a level difference between the first portion and the second portion. A conical portion formation step moves the second portion relative to the first portion in a second direction opposite to the first direction, eliminating the level difference. In this manner, a conical portion is formed in the second direction on the inner side of the second portion; and a burring step performs a burring process on the conical portion, thus forming the boss portion.
