  • Patent number: 11922253
Abstract: A delivery portal, which may be at a loading dock, includes a sensor configured to detect a pallet, platform or stack of goods as it passes through the portal. A computer is programmed to receive information from the sensor and to identify the pallet based upon the information. The computer is further programmed to compare the identified pallet to a database to determine if the identified pallet should be passing through the portal. For example, the computer determines whether the pallet is being loaded onto the wrong truck or onto the right truck but in the wrong sequence. The sensor for detecting the pallet may be an RFID sensor reading an RFID tag on the pallets. The portal may be a loading dock. The database may indicate a sequence for loading a plurality of pallets including the identified pallet onto a truck at the loading dock.

  • Patent number: 11917493
Abstract: UE location determined by collecting and preprocessing signal data at a detector and sending extracted data to a remote locate server. The detector buffers samples from signals provided by receive channels, detects known reference signals from receive channels based on reference signal parameters, isolates symbols carrying the reference signal from frames, extracts data from symbols, and sends extracted data to locate server. The locate server receives the extracted data, estimates locate observables based on the extracted data and calculates the UE location based on the estimated locate observables, the reference signal parameters and the extracted data. The detector and/or the server may also generate correlation coefficients between reference signals carrying spectrum received from a serving cell and utilize the correlation coefficients to cancel a serving cell signal in symbols that include known in advance reference signals from the serving cell and one or more neighboring cells of the wireless system.

  • Patent number: 11906248
Abstract: A method of heating a fluid stream for a power plant comprises diverting a portion of a main flow of flue gas from a power plant at a first pressure (P1), flowing the diverted flue gas through a heat exchanger, flowing an auxiliary fluid stream through the heat exchanger, and transferring heat from the diverted flue gas into the auxiliary fluid stream in the heat exchanger to raise a temperature of the auxiliary fluid stream from a first temperature (T3) to a second temperature (T4), while lowering a first temperature of the diverted flue gas (T1) to a second temperature (T2). The diverted flue gas is then returned to the main flow of flue gas in the power plant at a second pressure (P2). The method of flue gas flow through the heat exchanger may be accomplished by adding a self-contained flow path from a boiler higher pressure (P1) zone to a lower pressure (P2) zone.
