  • Publication number: 20240390658
Abstract: A medical device may include a handle and an end cap. The handle may include a first movable body and a stationary body. The end cap may include an outer portion, an inner portion disposed within the outer portion, and at least one biasing member. The outer portion may define a receptacle configured to contain a material. The inner portion may be proximal to the receptacle, within the outer portion, and coupled to the first movable body by at least one control element. The biasing member(s) may be disposed between a proximal face of the inner portion and a distal face of a proximal wall of the outer portion. Accordingly, movement of the first movable body relative to the stationary body moves the inner portion relative to the outer portion. Movement of the inner portion may be configured to deliver the material.

  • Publication number: 20240366203
Abstract: A medical device may comprise a handle having a fluid source, a conduit coupled to the handle, and a distal portion coupled to a distal end of the conduit. The distal portion may comprise an outer portion defining a lumen and an inner portion. The inner portion may be disposed within the lumen if the outer portion. The inner portion may define a cavity having a distal opening. The cavity may be configured to contain a material. In a first configuration of the distal portion, the material is disposed within the inner portion. Delivery of a fluid from the fluid source into the lumen of the outer portion transitions the distal portion from the first configuration to a second configuration and causes the inner portion to move distally relative to the outer portion and deliver at least a portion of the material.

  • Publication number: 20240366875
Abstract: A medical device may comprise: a first inlet for receiving a first fluid; a second inlet for receiving a second fluid; and a mixing body including a first body defining a first lumen and a second body disposed within the first lumen. The first lumen may be in fluid communication with the first inlet such that the first lumen receives the first fluid from the first inlet. The second body may define a second lumen. The second lumen may be in fluid communication with the second inlet, such that the second lumen receives the second fluid from the second inlet. A radially outer surface of the second body may have a plurality of openings, such that the first lumen and the second lumen are in fluid communication via the plurality of openings.

  • Publication number: 20240358533
Abstract: A device includes a flexible sheath, a member, an expansion device, and a therapeutic patch. The sheath has a length selected to extend from a distal end which, when the device is in operative configuration, is adjacent to the target site, to a proximal end. The member extends through the sheath from a proximal end to a distal end. The expansion device is coupled to and extends distally from a distal end of the member. The patch is wrapped around the expansion device and forced radially outward into contact with and adhere to a first target portion of tissue when the expansion device is moved to deployed configuration. The expansion device is movable, after the patch has been adhered to the portion as desired, from deployed configuration to insertion configuration to separate the patch from the expansion device leaving the patch in a desired position adhered to the portion.

  • Publication number: 20240358970
Abstract: A medical device may comprise: a handle including an actuator, an end container configured to be coupled to a distal end of another medical device, the end container including a cavity including a movable portion, at least one channel, and a distal opening; a control element coupling the actuator to the movable portion of the end container. A proximal movement of the actuator may move the movable portion of the end container proximally within the cavity of the end container. The cavity may be configured to hold a fluid, and the proximal movement of the movable portion is configured to apply a compressive force to the fluid so that the fluid is expelled distally through the distal opening.
