  • Publication number: 20140228435
Abstract: The embodiments herein provide a therapeutic composition comprising N (delta)-protonated L-2-amino-5-diaminomethyleneamino-pentanoic acid called J Factor and a method of ex-vivo synthesis of J-Factor from N(omega)?-protonated L-arginine at a pH of 5-9. The method involves increasing a temperature and or decreasing an acidity of an aqueous solution containing the N(omega)?-protonated L-arginine to obtain a pH value of greater than pKa?2 or less than pKa+2. The derivatives of aqueous solution are allowed to reach an equilibrium state at 25° C. The acidity of the acidity of the aqueous solution is adjusted to a pH value of 7.0 at 25° C. The pKa is a minus logarithm of an acid dissociation constant of the N(omega)?-protonated guanidino group. The N(omega)?-protonated 1-arginine includes ionized forms in the carboxyl or 2-amino group, which are in equilibrium with the N(omega)?-protonated 1-arginine. The composition has a molecular mass of more than or equal to 175.

  • Publication number: 20100121105
Abstract: It is disclosed a method which relates to the ex-vivo of synthesizing J-Factor and its therapeutic application. In-vivo mechanism involves the secretion of Growth Hormone (GH), and its binding to the GH receptor. During enzymatic interaction between GH and the receptor, at least one of its amino acid specifically L-arginine is changed to J-factor by the bond shifting action in the guanidino group of L-arginine. Finally the GH is broken down into its respective amino acid units within the cell, and the J-Factor starts to accumulate gradually. Thus accumulated J-factor stimulates the synthesis and secretion of autocrine-paracrine IGF-1. IGF-I induces changes in the cell which prevent aging signs. The method further relates to ex-vivo synthesis of J-factor which is responsible for the changes in the cell and its administration to humans and animal. In one of the preferred embodiment the ex-vivo synthesized J-factor is administrated to the patients and the changes in the patients was observed.

  • Publication number: 20050162279
Abstract: A method and apparatus for remotely monitoring wild animals in their natural habitat, having a remote monitoring device that is attached to a subject animal, the remote monitoring device having various components such as a video camera, a temperature sensor, a microphone, and a transmitter to wirelessly transmit gathered data to a base station to give scientists a better way to observe the subject animals' behavior in its natural environment with minimal human disturbance.
