Publication number: 20240101082Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for controlling brakes of a trailer of a towing vehicle. The method can include measuring wheel end brake temperatures of the towing vehicle and of the trailer via temperature sensors; determining an average towing vehicle reference temperature for the towing vehicle from the measured wheel end brake temperatures of the towing vehicle; determining an average trailer reference temperature for the trailer from the measured wheel end brake temperatures of the trailer; and, adjusting a trailer brake pressure on a basis of the determined average towing vehicle reference temperature and the determined average trailer reference temperature. The operator can be warned if the difference between the determined average trailer reference temperature and the determined average towing vehicle reference temperature are outside the compatibility limit for a predetermined amount of time. The disclosure further relates to a trailer brake control system for an electronic braking system.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2022Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventor: Mehmet Yilmaz

Patent number: 11782821Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include accessing updated data structures that are to be included in a user interface functionality test, where the updated data structures contribute to a user interface. The method may also include accessing live or snapshotted data captured from services running in a production environment, initiating generation of a first user interface instance using the updated data structures and using the accessed live or snapshotted data, and initiating generation of a second user interface instance using a different version of the data structures and using the same accessed live or snapshotted data. The method further includes comparing the first user interface instance to the second user interface instance to identify differences and then determine which outcome-defining effects the updated data structures had on the user interface based on the identified differences between the user interfaces.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2022Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: Netflix, Inc.Inventors: David Gevorkyan, Mehmet Yilmaz, Ajinkya More, Justin Derrick Basilico, Prasanna Padmanabhan, Vivek Kaushal, Gaurav Agrawal, Richard Wellington

Publication number: 20230256955Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for monitoring a brake component temperature of a brake of a vehicle. The method includes measuring a wheel end temperature at a wheel end of a vehicle via a temperature sensor at the wheel end; determining whether said measured wheel end temperature is above a threshold representative of a critical temperature of the brake component; and, outputting a warning signal when said determined wheel end temperature is above the threshold. The disclosure further relates to temperature modeling of the brake component temperature. The methods and systems according to the disclosure enable an anti-lock braking system to monitor brake components for mechanical issues via temperature sensors.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 16, 2022Publication date: August 17, 2023Inventor: Mehmet Yilmaz

Patent number: 10757510Abstract: Some preferred embodiments include a microphone system for receiving sound waves, the microphone including a back plate, a radiation plate, first and second electrodes, first and second insulator layers, a power source and a microphone controller. The radiation plate is clamped to the back plate so that there is a hermetically sealed regular convex polygon-, ellipse-, or regular convex elliptic polygon-shaped gap between the radiation plate and the back plate. The first electrode is fixedly attached to a side of the back plate proximate to the gap. The second electrode is fixedly attached to a side of the radiation plate. The insulator layers are attached to the back plate and/or the radiation plate, on respective gap sides thereof, so that the insulator layers are between the electrodes. The microphone controller is configured to use the power source to drive the microphone at a selected operating point comprising normalized static mechanical force, bias voltage, and relative bias voltage level.Type: GrantFiled: January 7, 2019Date of Patent: August 25, 2020Inventors: Hayrettin Koymen, Abdullah Atalar, Akif Sinan Tasdelen, Mehmet Yilmaz, Itir Koymen
