  • Patent number: 11813400
Abstract: A patient interface comprises a blower, a cushion for contacting a user's face, and a mask body and/or a frame for supporting the cushion on a user's face. The cushion and/or the mask body or frame define an interior space for receiving a flow of gases from the blower. The blower is mounted to the mask body or frame so that the blower is at least partially within the mask body or frame. The blower substantially separates a high pressure side of the mask body or frame from a low pressure side of the mask body or frame and/or the mask body or frame is substantially without a wall between the blower and the interior space.

  • Publication number: 20230181855
Abstract: A nasal mask having a seal housing and a flexible nasal seal connected or connectable to the seal housing to define a mask cavity. The nasal seal extends between a face-contacting side and an outer side. The nasal seal has a contacting surface having an edge that defines a nose-receiving opening into the mask cavity and which is configured to seal about the user's nose. The nasal seal also has an under-nose support fixedly connected into the seal and which is configured to extend within the mask cavity and having a contact surface that is oriented to contact at least a portion of the under-nose surface of the user.

  • Publication number: 20220288345
Abstract: The present invention relates to a humidification apparatus having a compartment that receives a removable humidification chamber. The apparatus has an actuator that can be operated by a user to move the humidification chamber from an operating position to a releasing position. In the operating position the humidification chamber is received by the humidification compartment and forms a portion of the flow path through the humidification apparatus. In the releasing position the humidification chamber is displaced outwardly from the operating position so that a user can more easily remove the humidification chamber from the apparatus.
