  • Publication number: 20070087368
Abstract: A system for analyzing alternative splice variant sequences is described, comprising an input manager for receiving alternative splice variant sequences that are identified by one or more probe sets, a correlator that correlates functional domains with each of the alternative splice variant sequences and an associater that associates putative functions with the alternative splice variant sequences based upon a combination of the functional domains. A method for analyzing alternative splice variant sequences is also described, comprising the acts of receiving alternative splice variant sequences that are identified by one or more probe sets, correlating functional domains with the alternative splice variant sequences and associating putative functions with the alternative splice variant sequences based upon a combination of the functional domains.

  • Publication number: 20060281650
Abstract: An article especially suitable for cleansing skin having the general form of a fibrous cleansing bar is described which includes a hydrous lathering composition that at least partially incorporates a fabricated polymer network that is exposed either before or during use. The fibrous cleansing bar exhibits an enhanced release of hydrophobic organic benefit agents used to deliver sensory, skin care or other functional benefits.

  • Publication number: 20060281651
Abstract: A colored article suitable for cleansing skin having the general form of a fibrous bar is described. The article includes a solid or semi-solid lathering composition that at least partially incorporates a continuous fabricated polymeric network. The articles have a substantially red color defined by L*,a*,b* chromaticity values falling within a specific region of the CIE color space and exhibit a low tendency for discoloration in storage and use.

  • Publication number: 20060281652
Abstract: A darkly colored article especially suitable for cleansing skin having the general form of a fibrous bar is described. The article includes a solid or semi-solid lathering composition that at least partially incorporates a continuous fabricated polymeric network. By including a network that has a CIE Lightness Value of less than about 50, especially an achromatic network, darkly colored cleansing articles can be provided that have minimum staining potential and exhibit good color stability during storage and use.

  • Publication number: 20050245151
Abstract: Fibrous webs that retain less of cationic lotion components are obtained by treating the fibers of the web with a solution of a chemical blocking material prior to soaking the web with a chemical lotion containing the cationic lotion component. The chemical blocking material can comprise at least one of a polyamide-epichlorohydrin resin; a polyamide resin; a melamine resin; or a high molecular weight cationic chemical compound. The resultant web material is suited for use in the manufacture of wet wipes and especially disinfectant wet wipes.
