These different types of data are organized according to a logical data model that defines multiple hierarchical levels of data types and relationships amongst the hierarchical levels. The collection of registered applications forms an inventory that may be used to manage these assets. In one aspect, a reconciliation framework receives data maintained by a first data source and pertaining to a portion of the hardware, software, and telecommunications assets distributed throughout the organization. The reconciliation framework then also receives data maintained by a second data source and pertaining to the portion of the hardware, software, and telecommunications assets distributed throughout the organization. The reconciliation framework then compares the data maintained by the first data source to the data maintained by the second data source effective to determine differences between the data maintained by the first data source and the data maintained by the second data source.

A cover encloses the feedback linkage between the actuator and instrument. The actuator includes a second instrument mounting pad and manifold so the power module is reversible to accommodate fail-safe opened or fail-safe closed valve conditions. A valve actuator and instrument combination is no higher than the actuator alone.
