  • Patent number: 11909333
Abstract: A propulsion system includes a uniform shape-shifting rotating disc member that changes its mass distribution at particular angular arc segment in a radial direction due to an electromagnetic field acting upon that angular arc segment, with no eccentric mechanical trajectory to guide a mass being required. The disc member has a multiplicity of shape-shifting arc segments that can respond to electromagnetic fields acting on them. Each shape-shifting arc segment passes a shape-shifting region of the apparatus at a frequency of rotation of the encoded motor multiplied by the number of such arc segment.

  • Publication number: 20240007817
Abstract: Real-time low-complexity stereo speech enhancement with spatial cue preservation may be performed. A stereo speech enhancement system receives a stereo input signal (e.g., a left and right input signal). The stereo speech enhancement system estimates spatial cues for a target speaker and downmixes the stereo input signal into a monaural signal. A low-complexity model may then process the monaural signal to generate an enhanced monaural signal. The stereo speech enhancement system upmixes the enhanced monaural signal based on the estimated spatial cues for the target speaker, to generate an enhanced stereo output signal.

  • Patent number: 11621655
Abstract: The apparatus consists of a highly conductive contact disc member preferably an annular circular disc that is attached rigidly to a shaft member with a shaft member collar to rotates freely with the shaft member on a pair of bearings (or bushes), in a pair of housing members. The contact disc member has an even number of piezoelectric crystals attached radially to the circumferential contact disc member electrical contacts to form a symmetric array. An equal number of equal massive members are attached to the other ends of the piezoelectric crystals, again to form, a symmetric array about the rotation axis of the shaft member. Each of the massive members has the same weight for balance. Thus, each massive member is held unto the contact disc member's circumference by a piezoelectric crystal. Each massive member has a diametrically opposite massive member that can balance its weight.
