  • Patent number: 10974564
Abstract: A system for damping control for a vehicle includes a parameter component and a damping adjustment component. The parameter component is configured to determine one or more driving parameters of a vehicle. The one or more driving parameters include a velocity of the vehicle. The damping adjustment component is configured to adjust damping of suspension of the vehicle during driving based on the one or more driving parameters. The damping adjustment component is also configured to adjust damping of suspension at a zero velocity for a threshold time period in response to transitioning from a non-zero velocity to the zero velocity.

  • Publication number: 20210080932
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing power search and harvesting in a drone device provide execution of one or more tasks, wherein one of the tasks has a higher priority than the remaining tasks. A power mode is determined for executing the highest priority task by sequentially determining whether the highest priority task can be executed in one of a plurality of execution scenarios including from a charging pad associated with the drone, from another location using energy harvested from an existing energy source, from another location using energy harvested from an energy source enabled by the drone, or from another location using battery power alone. The highest priority task is executed in keeping with the first usable execution scenario found during the sequential determination.

  • Publication number: 20210058505
Abstract: A privacy system and method are provided for selecting an audio play mode in a mobile electronic communications device having a microphone, a loudspeaker and an earpiece speaker. The described technique in an embodiment includes receiving a user request for information, and playing the information via the earpiece speaker if the earpiece speaker is adjacent the user's head and was adjacent the user's head when the user request was received. The information is played via the loud speaker if the earpiece speaker is not adjacent the user's head and was not adjacent the user's head when the user request was received. If the earpiece speaker was adjacent the user's head when the user request was received but is no longer adjacent the user's head, the device requests user permission to play the received information via the loud speaker.

  • Patent number: 10930121
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a system which includes a plurality of baccarat tables on which a baccarat game may be played by a plurality of players and a plurality of electronic player devices each playable by an individual player provides for selecting a plurality of outcomes which were dealt on at least one of the baccarat tables, determining whether a trend or pattern has developed in the plurality of outcomes (e.g., a pattern of at least a predetermined length) and, if a pattern has developed, activating a wagering opportunity on one of the electronic player devices, the wagering opportunity allowing a player to bet for or against the trend. In one embodiment, each outcome of the plurality of selected outcomes comprises an outcome originally dealt on the same baccarat table.

  • Patent number: 10812908
Abstract: A privacy system and method are provided for selecting an audio play mode in a mobile electronic communications device having a microphone, a loudspeaker and an earpiece speaker. The described technique in an embodiment includes retrieving data for replay to the user, determining based on a characteristic of the data or the user whether the data is private, and playing the retrieved data via the earpiece speaker if the data is private. Otherwise the retrieved data is played via the loud speaker.

  • Publication number: 20200265677
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a physical game element such as a wagering chip or a playing card may be utilized to implement a promotion scheme on an electronic card table (e.g., using RFID or optical imaging technology). During a game it may be determined whether the element is associated with special functionality (e.g., entitles the player to a payout multiplier, special payout table, bonus prize or other benefit). The special functionality may have been previously associated with the element or associated with the element during the game (e.g., dynamically and/or randomly). In accordance with some embodiments a player is not able to readily discern the special functionality by a physical inspection of the physical game element and is only notified of the special functionality once the physical game element is used in a qualifying action (e.g., during a wager at an electronic card table).

  • Publication number: 20200128081
Abstract: A central console unit includes a communication device and one or more processors. The communication device is in communication with one or more Internet-of-things devices. An artificial intelligence engine receives inputs from the Internet-of-things devices and transforms the inputs into machine-learned knowledge stored in an Internet-of-things knowledge domain. The central console unit detects at least one mobile device having other machine learned knowledge about an authorized user of the mobile device in a user knowledge domain, stored in the at least one mobile device, communicating with the communication device. When this occurs, the central console unit causes the at least one mobile device to deliver an exchange data.

  • Patent number: 10605850
Abstract: Quality control testing for a batch of electronic modules. A series of tests are performed on manufactured electronic modules, including tests sensitive to the failure rate of previously tested modules. Specifically, a first test comprised of two phases is performed on the module batch. Further screening is then performed responsive to detection of a wire sweep failure in a subset of failed modules from the first test phase. The further screening is on modules that passed the first test phase and excludes modules that failed the first test phase.

  • Patent number: 10433349
Abstract: A method includes, responsive to a trigger event, establishing a session between a first device and a set of second devices. Session data is exchanged with the second devices in the session. The session data includes identity data and position data. A relative position of each of the second devices in the session relative to the first device is determined based on the position data. Event data and data including the relative position associated with the session are logged. A selected one of the set of second devices is removed from the session responsive to a termination event and the exchanging of the session data with the selected one of the second devices is terminated.

  • Patent number: 10368318
Abstract: Protocols and algorithms for contention-based adaptive modulation networks, typically used in unlicensed bands. A wireless system in which high modulation rate packets are prioritized over low rate packets. The wireless system is configured to process communication signals from plural user portable devices having wireless access points capable of dynamically adjusting access point transmit power on a user-by-user basis to a minimum level required to achieve a target signal-to-noise ratio from each user portable device irrespective of the interference observed on the link is also disclosed. The wireless system is also capable of dynamically adjusting access point transmitter power and receiver sensitivity on a user-by-user basis to a minimum level required to achieve the highest possible modulation rate.

  • Patent number: 10366476
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for performing perspective correction on one or more test images. The technique includes analyzing a first test image to detect a set of outer points and calculating a geometric plane equation based on the set of outer points. The technique further includes projecting a first set of points associated with a first curved screen model based on the geometric plane equation to generate a second set of points. The technique further includes comparing the second set of points to a set of inner points included in the first test image to determine at least one error value, and determining a screen curvature value based on the at least one error value.
