  • Publication number: 20210320611
Abstract: A motor control system for a folding partition includes a data storage device and processing circuitry. The data storage device is configured to store a normal threshold profile to serve as a threshold for a measured current supplied to a motor to detect abnormal operation of the motor. The motor is configured to drive motion of the folding partition. The processing circuitry is operably coupled to the data storage device. The processing circuitry is configured to generate an adjusted threshold profile to serve as a threshold for the measured current supplied to the motor while moving the folding partition during a transition from an abnormal operational mode to the normal operational mode. The adjusted threshold profile is used for detecting additional abnormal operation of the motor. The processing circuitry is configured to generate the adjusted threshold profile by adjusting at least a portion of the normal threshold profile.

  • Publication number: 20210246653
Abstract: A movable partition system includes a movable partition, a floating jamb attached to an end of the movable partition and located within a pocket configured to retain the movable partition when in a retracted position, at least two base plates attached to the floating jamb, and at least two jamb stops attached to opposing interior walls of the pocket. Each of the at least two jamb stops are configured to engage a respective base plate of the floating jamb, wherein the floating jamb, the at least two base plates, and the at least two jamb stops are configured such that disengaging the floating jamb from a secure position within the pocket when the movable partition is in an extended position requires disengaging one of the at least two jamb stops from the respective base plate on each side of the movable partition. Methods of providing a security barrier are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10944801
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for facilitating delivery of resources via peer-to-peer connections without requiring an intermediary signaling server. Typically, before establishing a peer-to-peer connection, peers must exchange signaling information such as their reachability over a network. Traditional systems often rely on an intermediary signaling server to act as a go-between for peers and assist in the exchange of signaling information. The present disclosure removes the need for a signaling server. Instead, peers may utilize message collections on a messaging system to exchange signaling information. A requesting peer may submit a request to access a resource to a message collection for that resource. A providing peer may obtain the request, and submit a response to a message collection for the requesting peer. Peers may continue to exchange information via the collections until a peer-to-peer connection is established.

  • Patent number: 10892984
Abstract: Techniques for routing media streams in a provider network are described. A media routing service is disclosed that comprises one or more virtual media routers for routing media streams from one or more media sources to one or more downstream devices coupled to the provider network. The media routing service provides external entities (e.g., users) of the provider network with the ability to request for a virtual media router for routing media content and determines the appropriate set of computing resources necessary to provision and launch the virtual media router in the provider network. In certain embodiments, the media routing service processes routing commands generated by a client, generates routing information comprising source to destination mappings based on the routing commands, and securely distributes media content to identified downstream devices based on the routing information.

  • Patent number: 10795901
Abstract: The invention relates to a computer-implemented system and method for providing data services to a user via a best fit data matching application programming interface (API). The method may comprise exposing to the user, via the API, data services that are available electronically to the user. The data services are invoked with a query comprising a set of parameters. An automated query processing service is used to automatically analyze the parameters and match the parameters to a best electronic data source among a plurality of electronic data sources using a metadata store. The step of matching the parameters to the best electronic data source is based on a data quality metric, a date range and user permissions. The retrieved dataset, which is automatically presented to the user electronically via the API, can also be customized to include client-specific data elements.

  • Patent number: 10791119
Abstract: Methods, non-transitory computer readable media, network traffic management apparatuses, and network traffic management systems that receive a request from a client to log into an application hosted by an application server. A determination is made when the client is authenticated in response to the request. Attribute(s) are extracted from the request, when the determining indicates that the client is authenticated. A first password is generated for the client. A record for the client stored at a global catalog server is identified based on the extracted attributes and the generated first password is injected into the identified record. Credential(s) including at least the generated first password are sent to the application hosted by the application server.
