  • Patent number: 11615458
Abstract: An electronic marketplace provides a communication platform between consumer and sellers. Consumers create product wish lists and the wish lists are used as the basis for product advertising from the sellers. In addition, a consumer may invite friends to view the wish list and purchase particular products that are added to the wish list. Because wish lists are used as the basis for advertising, consumers can manage the types of product advertising that they see. Consumers have the ability to turn off individual product advertisements by removing that product from the wish list. Sellers utilize reverse bidding to compete for advertising space with each consumer and friend. One particularly advantageous feature of the embodiment is that wish lists serve as nameless and untraceable proxies for each member by keeping personal information removed from the sellers.

  • Publication number: 20230085052
Abstract: Methods of, inter alia, detecting the presence of one or more analytes in one or more query samples include providing one or more sensor that each include biomolecules disposed on a functionalized surface of one or more giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensors. Modes of operation remove or add magnetic beads from the vicinity of sensor surfaces by interactions with the biomolecules. The methods feature, inter alia, detecting the presence of one or more analytes in one or more query samples by measuring magnetoresistance change of the one or more GMR sensors based on determining magnetoresistance before and after passing magnetic particles over the one or more sensors.

  • Patent number: 11550164
Abstract: A method includes receiving collimated light from an optical imaging system and dividing the received light into multiple bands of wavelength. Each band is refocused onto a corresponding diffraction grating having an amplitude function matched to a point spread function (PSF) of the optical imaging system. The light that is not filtered out by the diffraction grating is transmitted onto a corresponding pixel array. An image is reconstructed from data provided by the pixel arrays for each band. The intensity of light scattered by each diffraction grating may be detected, with the image being reconstructed as a function of an average value of detected intensity of scattered light used to scale the known zero-order mode profile, which is added to the image on the pixel array.

  • Patent number: 11531546
Abstract: An instruction to perform an operation selected from a plurality of operations configured for the instruction is executed. The executing includes determining a value of a selected operand of the instruction. The determining the value is based on a control of the instruction and includes reading the selected operand of the instruction from a selected operand location to obtain the value of the selected operand, based on the control having a first value, and using a predetermined value as the value of the selected operand, based on the control having a second value. The value and another selected operand of the instruction are multiplied to obtain a product. An arithmetic operation is performed using the product and a chosen operand of the instruction to obtain an intermediate result. A result from the intermediate result is obtained and placed in a selected location.
