  • Patent number: 11090806
Abstract: Systems, methods and articles of manufacture for synchronized robot orientation are described herein. A magnetometer, gyroscope, and accelerometer in a remotely controlled device are used to determine a current orientation of that device, and a command with a specified orientation or location are set to several such devices. The remotely controlled devices self-align based on the specified orientation/location, and when in position, receive swarm commands to perform actions as a group of devices in coordination with one another.

  • Publication number: 20210243498
Abstract: A recommendation engine generates contextually relevant media programs tailored to the specific context of the user. The recommendation engine interfaces with one or more Internet-of-Things (IoT) appliances to determine one or more food items stored within the IoT appliance(s) and/or one or more cooking capabilities associated with the IoT appliance(s). The recommendation engine also gathers profile data that reflects a set of preferences associated with the user. Based on the gathered data, the recommendation engine queries a database of cooking program data associated with various cooking programs. The recommendation engine obtains cooking program data that is contextually relevant to the user and then generates a contextual cooking program that describes how to perform a given recipe. During playback of the contextual cooking program, the recommendation engine can modify the contextual cooking program based on the progress of the user in following the recipe.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for an airframe of a volitant body are presented herein. An apparatus may include a body having a normal axis. The body comprising a central air passage communicating through the body along the normal axis of the body. The central air passage may have an inlet at a first end of the body and an outlet at a second end of the body, the second end being opposite the first end. The central air passage may form an interior surface of the body. The central air passage permitting a flow of air through the body via the central air passage. The inlet may be formed to produce a Venturi effect in the flow of air passing through the central air passage from the inlet to the outlet by choking the flow of air at the inlet.

Abstract: Embodiments provide for managing ownership of physical objects and digital counterparts using a distributed ledger and tokens stored on the physical objects. An example method generally includes reading, via a wireless data connection between a physical object and a mobile device, a token stored on the physical object. The token may include at least a unique identifier of the physical object. A request to transfer ownership of the physical object to an owner of the mobile device is generated, and the request may include at least the unique identifier of the physical object. The generated request is transmitted to a distributed ledger system, and a response is received from the distributed ledger system indicating whether the transfer was successful. • Patent number: 10987594
Abstract: Systems and methods to elicit physical activity in users acting as caretakers of physical objects. Caretaking information for a physical object may define a set of caretaking criteria of a physical object. Individual caretaking criteria may comprise one or more caretaking requirements of the physical object to be satisfied based on physical activity of a user. The caretaking requirements of the physical object may “trick” the user into performing fitness/wellness behavior. In caring for the physical object, the user may actually be caring for themselves.

  • Publication number: 20210081498
Abstract: Embodiments provide interactive artificial intelligence. Input to an artificial intelligence (AI) system is received, where the AI system comprises a plurality of machine learning (ML) models. A context of the input is determined, where the context indicates a role-playing scenario. A first ML model of the plurality of ML models is then selected based on the determined context, where the first ML model was trained based at least in part on the role-playing scenario. Output is generated by processing the input using the first ML model. The output is then returned.

  • Patent number: 10940387
Abstract: Various embodiments of the invention disclosed herein provide techniques for implementing augmented reality (AR) gameplay across multiple AR gaming environments. A synchronized AR gaming application executing on an AR gaming console detects that a first gaming console that is executing an AR gaming application has exited a first AR gaming environment and entered a second AR gaming environment. The synchronized AR gaming application connects to a communications network associated with the second AR gaming environment. The synchronized AR gaming application detects, via the communications network, a sensor associated with the second AR gaming environment. The synchronized AR gaming application alters execution of the AR gaming application based at least in part on sensor data received via the sensor to enable the AR gaming application to continue executing as the first gaming console exits the first AR gaming environment and enters the second AR gaming environment.
