  • Publication number: 20140324509
Abstract: Information for a project, including financials and scheduling is stored as the single dataset, with budgeting information automatically integrated to the cash flow information, and with scheduling information automatically integrated to the cash flow information, and vice versa, through the single dataset from a single database to associate scheduled project phases. The single database, allows users to view the cash flow via multiple user interfaces extracted from the same core data, and therefore updates in one user interface can reflect across all user interfaces comprising budget, schedule and cash flow.

  • Publication number: 20120101838
Abstract: Systems and processes for managing and supporting clinical trials and clinical trial operations, more particularly for managing and supporting governmental authority, ethics committee, and/or other regulatory authority notifications and submissions in the context of clinical trials in various countries throughout the world. Such systems and processes leverage the insight that such regulatory authority requirements vary from one country to the next, but that all or essentially all such regulatory authority requirements can be categorized into a limited number of groups as to which a limited number of workflows can be created. Such workflows can be automated and supported with systems and processes according to embodiments of the invention, which can then control sequence of activities to comply with regulations and requirements in the various countries in which a clinical trial occurs.

  • Patent number: 7877300
Abstract: A system and method of processing an order comprises receiving an order for desired items, and calculating a collective physical parameter(s) of the items such as a total weight of the items, a total volume of the items and/or a total number of cases of the items. The calculated collective physical parameter(s) is compared with a predetermined threshold(s) reflecting a physical capacity or capability of one standard full carrier. The processing of the order is stopped if the collective physical parameter exceeds the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20090063947
Abstract: Displaying a calendar user interface is disclosed. An indication that a time period associated with a calendar bar in the calendar user interface has been edited is received. It is determined whether a date display element corresponding to a date in the time period in the calendar user interface is full. In the event that the date display element is full, all calendar bars associated with the date are modified. Printing spreadsheet data is disclosed. A request to print the spreadsheet data is received. In response to the request, the spreadsheet data is analyzed to determine a printing format including a print area for a plurality of pages. A request to the print the spreadsheet data using the determined printing format is sent.

  • Publication number: 20060106665
Abstract: A performance analysis engine analyzes the performance of affiliate web sites that provide links to specific items in an electronic catalog, and identifies catalog items that can be listed by such affiliate web sites to improve performance. An association mining component analyzes transaction data attributable to specific categories or types of affiliate web sites to identify items that are frequently purchased in combination by users of such sites. The detected item associations are used to evaluate, for a given affiliate site, whether significant disparities exist between the expected and actual sales quantities of specific items. The results of the analysis are incorporated into affiliate-specific performance reports, which may include specific recommendations for improving performance. The disclosed methods may also be used to analyze the performance of, and provide recommendations to, online sellers within an online mall, online marketplace, or online auction system.

  • Publication number: 20020174028
Abstract: A method and system of processing an order comprises receiving an order indicating N desired items, bundling the N desired items of the order as M unit(s), each unit comprising a collection of at least one desired item and M being a number lower than N, and processing the order using the M unit(s) as a representation of the N desired items. After processing the order using the M unit(s), the representation of the M unit(s) is unbundled into N desired items. Alternatively, a method and system of processing an order comprises receiving an order for M unit(s), each unit comprising a plurality of individual items, unbundling the M unit(s) of the order as N individual items, M being a number lower than N, and processing the order using N individual items as a representation of the M unit(s). After processing the order using the N individual items, the representation of the N individual items is bundled as M unit(s).
