  • Publication number: 20230219351
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes: an operation acceptor; a transporter transporting paper along a transport path; an image former forming an image on the paper on the basis of image data; a paper detector detecting a transport status of the paper on the basis of detection results of paper detection sensors provided at various locations on the transport path; a display; a storage storing a predetermined image showing an assumed jam status of the paper and predetermined guidance for clearing the jam status of the paper when a jam occurs while the paper is transported; and a controller. When the jam occurs while the paper is transported, the controller displays, in a user-selectable manner, a predetermined image showing the paper jam status according to the detection result of the paper detector. When the operation acceptor accepts a selection operation, the controller displays the guidance for clearing the paper jam status.

  • Patent number: 10283271
Abstract: A laminated electronic component includes a main body including an effective layer in which dielectric layers and internal electrode layers are alternately laminated, and a pair of a first cover layer and a second cover layer which are disposed on opposite sides, respectively, in a stacking direction of the effective layer; and a plurality of external electrodes disposed on an outer surface of the main body. The internal electrode layers are alternately connected to the different external electrodes, and the first cover layer has a high-Young's modulus layer which is higher in Young's modulus than the dielectric layers. By mounting such a laminated electronic component to a substrate so that the first cover layer and a mounting face of the substrate are opposed to each other, it is possible to suppress acoustic noise.

  • Patent number: 9877393
Abstract: A laminated electronic component includes a main body composed of a stacked body in which dielectric layers and internal electrode layers are alternately laminated, and an external electrode disposed on an outer surface of the stacked body so as to make electrical connection with the internal electrode layers; and a first joining member and a second joining member which are provided on a first face side located in a stacking direction of the dielectric layers and the inner electrode layers. The first joining member and the second joining member are provided on a first side and second side which constitute the first face, respectively, and located in a region which includes midpoints thereof but does not include a vertex of the main body. By mounting such a laminated electronic component to a substrate via the joining members, acoustic noise can be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20130089343
Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided with an image forming portion for forming an image, a nongenuine product judging portion for judging whether or not a toner cartridge as a replacement part of the image forming portion is a nongenuine product and a control portion for controlling the image forming portion according to an image forming condition input from a copy condition input screen or a print condition input screen. In a case where the toner cartridge of the image forming portion is judged as a nongenuine product by the nongenuine product judging portion, the control portion restricts input of a condition concerning recording paper among the image forming conditions capable of being input from the copy condition input screen or the print condition input screen.

  • Publication number: 20130088740
Abstract: When a nongenuine product is used as a replacement part of an image forming apparatus, addition of specific image information to recording paper is prohibited, thereby preventing leakage of an important document. The image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion for forming an image, and a nongenuine product judging portion for judging whether or not a toner cartridge as a replacement part of the image forming portion is a nongenuine product. A printer driver of an information processing apparatus prohibits, when the toner cartridge of the image forming portion is judged as a nongenuine product, addition to recording paper a watermark, copy prohibition information or trace information that is purposely added as the specific image information on a print condition input screen with recognition of an important document by a user.
