  • Patent number: 5343305
Abstract: A multiple addressing station transmits a facsimile signal via a communications satellite, using the multiple address communications mode. In this case, the multiple addressing station transmits a facsimile signal via at least one channel of multiple audio channels ch1, ch2 of a satellite communications circuit. This facsimile signal is received by a satellite communications receiver of a terminal station. At the terminal station, the received facsimile signal is sent to a switching control device, and at this switching control device, the facsimile signal and a control signal are sent to a facsimile device by the switching control. The facsimile device generates a switching signal which, based on a control signal from the switching control device, switches over the facsimile signal coming from this switching control device by using a switching device, and sends the facsimile signal that is inputted through the above procedure is sent to a decision device inside a facsimile device.

  • Patent number: 4071849
Abstract: Printed images having a half tone are realized in a printing system using a temperature sensitive paper. A thermal-head which is positioned close to the temperature sensitive paper is heated by an input electrical signal and the heated thermal-head changes the darkness of the temperature sensitive paper. The period of time that the thermal-head is heated is controlled by the input electrical signal and, thus, the temperature of the thermal-head is a function of the input electrical signal. The darkness or the concentration of images on the temperature sensitive paper can be changed according to the input electrical signal. Thus an image having a half tone is obtained on a temperature sensitive paper.
