    Abstract: Pants that include a pair of outer sheets, and an inner sheet folded along a transverse center line, and disposed between lower parts of the respective outer sheets. Each of the outer sheets has upper and lower end portions extending in a transverse direction and front and rear side edge portions extending in a longitudinal direction while the inner sheet has lower end portions extending below the transverse center line in the transverse direction and a panel in the vicinity of the transverse center line. The inner surfaces of the respective outer sheets are bonded to each other in the vicinity of upper portions of the front and rear side edge portions thereof while the inner surfaces of the respective outer sheets are bonded to the inner surface of the inner sheet in the vicinity of lower portions of the front and rear side edge portions as well as in the vicinity of the front and rear side edge portions of the inner sheet.

    Abstract: A fastening system for a garment such as a disposable diaper includes a hook panel having a plurality of hook elements and a loop panel having a plurality of loop elements. The hook panel includes a base panel having a top surface on which the hook elements extend and a back surface. The back surface of the base panel has a secured region and a non-secured region with respect to the garment. The non-secured region is defined toward one end from which the hook panel can be progressively released from the loop panel toward the other opposite end. The fastening system thereby reduces the chance that the hook panel might be readily and unintentionally released from the loop panel during use of the garment.

Collar elements, by which the first and second rear trunk halves may be kept closed is formed from a front collar member attached to the front trunk region and surrounding front half of a neck opening, a first rear collar member attached to the first rear trunk half and surrounding rear half of the neck opening, and a second rear collar member attached to the second rear trunk half and surrounding rear half of the neck opening. Two pairs of engaging fasteners are formed on respective ends of the front collar member and the first and second rear collar members. The engaging fasteners detachably fasten the collar members to each other.

The sheet is formed with plural arrays of heat-sealed regions each extending in transverse direction Y and spaced one from another in longitudinal direction X intersecting the transverse direction Y. Between each pair of the adjacent heat-sealed regions, the nonwoven fabric layers describe circular arcs which are convex outward in a thickness direction of the sheet from the opposite surfaces of the film.

    Abstract: Medium members such as thread are provided between woven fabric sheet such as warp knitting serving as the other sheet and base member, forming linear raised portions in the woven fabric sheet. The density of woven fabric sheet at the inclined portions to either side of these raised portions becomes coarse and the gaps between fine filaments on the woven fabric sheet spread, so that retaining heads of one sheet can easily enter and so that the fine filaments easily become hooked to the base portion of the retaining heads. Consequently, the retaining of the one sheet and the other sheet in strengthened, and the peeling strength is improved.
